Have you ever thought about using DNA to research family genealogy? There may be things our ancestors thought they would take to their graves. But, DNA can bring the truth to light. Michael Fay will explore this phenomenon through the genetic trails left by a well known Cornwall Furnace furnace master, postmaster and militia officer of early 19th century Lebanon County, Thomas Coleman Shay. The program will also touch on Michael’s own genetics and the surprising results of DNA testing.

Join us on August 29 at 1:30 p.m. in the Reese Memorial Hall to hear how the mystery of the Shay family genealogy unfolded and learn how you can use DNA to research your own family history. The program is open to the public and FREE (donations appreciated). We hope to see you there!
