THE CENTER for Entrepreneurial Excellence, a free business resource for Lebanon County, is hosting the first-ever Entrepreneurial PITCH competition. The application deadline has been extended to January 31.

According to Karen Groh, Chairman of THE CENTER board of directors, entrepreneurs will have the chance to win seed money to start their dream business. Two winners will each receive a $2,500 grant and packages of business services valued over $1,000. There is no cost to apply or participate.

“Interested individuals should submit their Letter of Interest (download it at thecenterlebanon.org) by January 31, 2020. THE CENTER will provide free workshops and SCORE Mentoring for entrepreneurs to develop and create their comprehensive business plan,” said Groh. “The final application and comprehensive business plan are due on April 24, 2020.”

On May 20, 2020, THE GREAT Lebanon County PITCH will be presented in a public event where six finalists will have 5 minutes to present their business concepts, and a panel of judges will ask additional questions.

THE PITCH is open to any business in Lebanon County that is expanding or altering their business model, or entrepreneur(s) with an idea to create a new business located within Lebanon County.

THE CENTER is also requesting donations of business-related services to include in the prize packages for THE PITCH winners. Suggested categories include accounting, marketing, legal, office supplies, printing, rental space, cleaning, technology, etc. Donations must have a minimum value of $500.
