If you hear loud booms this week, worry not. In all likelihood, it’s just the Gap.
Fort Indiantown Gap will be holding mortar and demolitions training this month, with the mortar training this weekend September 7-9 and the demolitions training on September 19. These training events will take place between the hours of 8am to 11pm.
The events are not open to the public, but if you’re in the Valley, odds are you’ll hear them. Here’s video from last year’s exercises.
