The United Way of Lebanon County held its Mid-Campaign Community Meeting last night at the Lebanon Country Club, marking about 50% progress towards its 2018-2019 campaign.

So far, the United Way has raised $852,350 of a $1,750,125 goal. A press release from the organization highlighted Jonestown Bank, PA Precision Cast Parts, and Lebanon Valley College for increases in their annual workplace campaigns. The Francis J. Dixon Foundation was the single biggest donor with a gift of $50,000.

EnVision Financial was the title sponsor of the event. Penn State Milton S. Hersey Medical Center and the First Energy Foundation also sponsored.

The superintendent of Lebanon School District, Dr. Arthur Abrom, was the event’s guest speaker, “who shared the opportunities and challenges our community’s children are confronted with,” according to a press release.
