With it being so cold lately, there are very few outdoor activities that sound like good ideas.
However, it is the perfect type of weather for some ice sculpting.
Friday morning, students from Lebanon County Career and Technology Center under the guidance of instructor Chef Robert Corle will work in pairs to carve sculptures out of 1,000 pounds of ice blocks. The sculptures will then be on display as a part of Downtown Lebanon’s First Friday Art Walk.
The carving will take place behind the Lebanon Farmer’s Market from 9am to noon. The finished sculptures will remain on display until the Art Walk wraps up at 8pm.
