K9 Patrolman Nicholas Ague was recognized yesterday for his service to the South Londonderry Police Department since 2006.
The South Londonderry Township Board of Supervisors voted to declare February 12, 2019 as “Officer Nicholas Ague Day” for his contribution to the township. The resolution also references Ague being named “Officer of the Year” by the Lebanon County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #42.
“His dedication to the department and township is unwavering,” said Board of Supervisors chair Dr. Faith Bucks in an email.
“Our township is blessed with a great police department who all give so much not only on the job. This is our small way to recognize Officer Ague.”
Along with his K9 partner, Rex, Ague was profiled in 2016 by the Lebanon Daily News.
