With today marking the official start of petition signing for the 2019 elections, here’s your overview to important election dates in the next nine months.

  • February 19
    • First day to circulate and file nomination petitions.
  • February 20
    • Lebanon County Democratic Committee hold a general business meeting and candidate petition signing starting at 7pm at Heisey’s Diner. (In the event of snow and ice, this meeting will be moved to Feb 26 and announced on TV and radio.)
  • February 21
    • Lebanon County Young Republicans host a petition signing party for endorsed candidates from 7pm to 8pm at the Batdorf.
  • March 3
    • Lebanon County Democratic Committee hold a petition signing party from 4pm to 6pm at the Lebanon Democratic Headquarters.
  • March 9
    • Lebanon County Democratic Committee hold a petition signing party from 10am to 12pm at the Lebanon Democratic Headquarters.
  • March 10
    • Lebanon County Republican Committee host a petition signing and notarization party from 6pm to 7pm at the Lebanon GOP Headquarters.
  • March 12
    • Last day to circulate and file nomination petitions.
  • March 13
    • First day to circulate and file nomination papers.
  • March 27
    • First day to circulate and file nomination papers.
  • April 22
    • Last day to register before the primary.
  • May 14
    • Last day to apply for a civilian absentee ballot.
  • May 15
    • Lebanon County Democratic Committee host committee meeting and meet the candidates night starting at 7pm at Heisey’s Diner.
  • May 17
    • Last day for County Board of Elections to receive voted civilian absentee ballots.
  • May 21
    • Municipal Primary
  • May 28
    • Last day for County Board of Elections to receive voted military and overseas absentees ballots.
  • August 1
    • Last day to circulate and file nomination papers.
  • August 8
    • Last day for withdrawal by candidates nominated in nomination papers.
  • August 12
    • Last day for withdrawal by candidates nominated at the primary.
  • October 7
    • Last day to register before the November election.
  • October 29
    • Last day to apply for a civilian absentee ballot.
  • November 1
    • Last day for County Board of Elections to receive voted civilian absentee ballots.
  • November 5
    • Municipal Election
  • November 12
    • Last day for County Board of Elections to receive voted military and overseas absentees ballots.
