The Lebanon County Commission for Women held its annual Hall of Fame Luncheon & Awards Celebration yesterday, recognizing eleven new inductees.

ABC27’s Alicia Richards served as Mistress of Ceremonies for the event, which featured videos by students of Cedar Crest High School teacher Chris Schwalm.

The luncheon was held at Stone Ridge Poplar Run in Myerstown. This was the 10th annual Women’s Hall of Fame Luncheon & Awards Celebration. This year’s Hall of Fame Committee was co-chaired by Bev Heishman and Becky Witherite. Other committee members included Roberta Brummel, Loreen Burkett, Esq., Maria Dissinger, Kathy Kulbitsky, Jody Lazorcik, Commissioner Jo Ellen Litz, Heidi Neiswender, Ali Mailen Perrotto, Angie Shea, and Beth Wise.

It was also shared at the event that this year’s Glass Slipper Dress Sale saw more than 158 dresses sold to local high school students. Lebanon County Commission for Women Chair Ali Mailen Perrotto also announced that the organization was growing its diversity efforts with surveys in Spanish as well as a presence at the Latino Health Fair. Through Glass Slipper and the Hall of Fame luncheon, the Commission for Women raised over $10,000 last year.
