On Saturday, Lebanon Valley College Women’s Lacrosse defeated the Stevenson Mustangs to claim the program’s first-ever MAC Commonwealth title.

LVC, the second seed, was able to get some revenge on top-seeded Mustangs following a loss March 30 loss to Stevenson, 11-7.

The team won its way into the championship game by winning a semi-final tilt against Messiah College, 16-12.

The tournament, and LVC’s 10-5 championship victory against Stevenson, took place in in Owings Mills, Maryland.

The Dutchmen now advance to the NCAA DIII Women’s Lacrosse Championship next week in Baltimore, where they will take on first round opponent, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, who are coming off a 17-0 undefeated season.
