A vehicle driven was involved in a crash on April 14 at 2:30am at North Sheridan Road’s intersection with Alumni Avenue. The operator of the vehicle, Devin Richard Carmel, was placed under arrest for DUI.

3000 BLK CHESTNUT ST – LEBANON

Traffic stop for improper driving on the roadway and a broken tail light; a Lebanon woman was charged with Possession of marijuana, Use/Possession of drug paraphernalia and disregard traffic lanes.

North Lebanon Township

STOLEN VEHICLE:
Alex Yeakley – age 29 – No address, was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, simple assault, and harassment after an incident that occurred on April 26, at Mt. Zion Road and Weavertown Road.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:
An 18 year old Newmanstown woman was charged with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and harassment after an incident that occurred on April 6, in the 2500 block of Cumberland Street.

RETAIL THEFT:
Armando Gonzalez – age 20
Joseph Cortes-Montanez – age 19 – both from 109 N. 12th Street, Lebanon were charged with retail theft and criminal conspiracy after an incident that occurred at Wal-Mart, Lebanon on February 14. They were charged after taking merchandise valued at $177.

SIMPLE ASSAULT:
Gurwinder Singh – age 20 – 482 N. 5th Street, Lebanon was charged with simple assault and harassment after an incident that occurred on April 22, 2019 after an incident that occurred in the 2000 block of Mallard Lane.

South Lebanon Township

Possession Weapon on School Property
Charges have been filed against a Cedar Crest Middle School student after a police investigation into the report of a 12 year old student having a multi-tool pocket knife in his possession on school property on April 25, 2019.

Obstructing Administration of Law
Rolland Laughlin, Jr., 44, was charged with Obstructing Administration of Law or Other Governmental Function after South Lebanon Township Police were called to assist Lebanon County Probation and Lebanon County Sheriff’s departments on April 25 at 1544 hours. Both departments were attempting to serve an active warrant for another individual believed to be at that residence. Laughlin intentionally physically blocked representatives from the agencies from entering the residence to search for the warranted individual.

Drug Charges
Alec Laughlin, 18, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana after South Lebanon Township Police were called to assist Lebanon County Probation and Lebanon County Sheriff’s Department on April 25 at 1544 hours. Both departments were attempting to serve an active warrant for another individual believed to be at that residence. While searching the residence for the wanted individual marijuana and paraphernalia was discovered.

Domestic Violence Assault
Zachary Schaeffer, 23, of Lebanon, was charged with Simple Assault after police were called to a domestic incident at the home address on May 2nd at 0112 hours. The victim was taken to the Good Samaritan Hospital where they were evaluated and released.

Union Township

On May 7 at 7:37pm, PSP Jonestown Troopers conducted a traffic stop at MM 8 I-78W. A search of the vehicle was conducted which revealed 71 grams of marijuana. Appropriate charges shall be filed.

West Lebanon Township

RETAIL THEFT:
Christian Varela – age 21 – 1436 Lafayette Street, Lebanon, PA was charged with retail theft after an incident that occurred on April 27, after failing to pay for merchandise at Boscov’s, Lebanon Valley Mall, valued at $50.

DRUG POSSESSION:
Derek Mutek – age 24 – 1937 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, PA was charged with Possession of heroin, Possession of marijuana, Possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident that occurred on April 25, 2019, on N. 16th Street.
