Bethel Township

On May 14, 2019 at 5:50pm, a two-vehicle trash occurred at the intersection of Mt. Zion Road and Shirksville Road, Bethel Township, Lebanon County. This two vehicle crash occurred as Unit 1 proceeded to travel West on Shirksville Road, after stopping at a stop sign. Unit 1 proceeded through the intersection with out proper clearance and struck Unit 2, who was traveling North. Unit 1 struck Unit 2 in its front passenger bumper and fender. Unit 1 came to final rest after striking Unit 2. Unit 2 continued to travel North after initial impact crossing the south bound lane of Mt. Zion Road, and struck a house on the northwest side of Shirksville Road. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage to its front end. Unit 2 sustained disabling damage to its passenger side fender area and front end. No injuries resulted from this crash. Mt. Zion Community Fire Company assisted with traffic control. Unit 1 and Unit 2 were towed from the scene by Joe May’s Towing. The 25 year old man driving the 2003 Cadillac CTS that was Unit #1 got charged with Obedience to Traffic-Control Devices.

Cornwall Borough

DUI – Todd Dohner, age 57, 102 Cedar St., Cornwall, has been charged with driving under the influence as the result of an accident April 13th, 11:52 AM, on SR 419 at Alden Way.  BAC  .102%

East Hanover Township

This crash occurred May 7 at 10:15pm on Dairy Lane just west of Gravel Hill Road, East Hanover Township, Lebanon County. Unit 2 was traveling east on Dairy Lane and struck the rear end of Unit 1, an unknown vehicle illegally stopped on the roadway facing east. After being struck by Unit 2, Unit 1 fled the scene east on Dairy Lane and sustained unknown rear end damage. Operator 1 sustained unknown injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 2 remained disabled on the roadway becoming engulfed in flames. Unit 2 required Fire Department assistance to extinguish the flames and was completely burned as a result of the fire. Unit 2 was towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing. Operator 2 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash.

Jackson Township

On May 13 at 2:00pm, PSP Jonestown investigated a harassment that occurred at in Jackson Township. An 18 year old Newmanstown woman said that she and her ex-boyfriend, who is a 17 year old Myerstown juvenile, were in a verbal altercation yesterday. The Newmanstown woman said that the altercation turned physical when the arrestee grabbed her, pushed her, then held her down on the ground. She related she sought medical attention later in the day as a precaution but had no injuries, visible or otherwise. A summary charge of Harassment was filed against the juvenile.

Lebanon City

A 25 year old North Lebanon Township man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on 5-12-19 at 0406 hours on the 900 block of Cumberland Street.

A 29 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on 4-29-19 at 1541 hours on the 00 block of N. 8th Street.

North Cornwall Township

A 32 year old Lebanon woman rear-ended a 45 year old Manheim man after the man cut off the woman in the K-mart north entrance / exit way.

South Lebanon Township

Firearms Violation – Isiah Uriel Davis, 27, of Lebanon was charged after he attempted to purchase a firearm from Dunham’s Sporting Goods, 829 East Cumberland Street, Lebanon, on January 14, 2019. Davis attempted to purchase a handgun from Dunham’s. Davis falsified the required Federal and State ATF Transaction Record application on January 14, 2019. Davis was denied the firearm purchase by the PA Instant Check System and has been charged with Unsworn Falsification to Authorities.

Drug Law Arrest – Samantha Lynn Bomgardner, 33, Lebanon, was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia after police received a complaint of the odor of marijuana emitting from Bomgardner’s residence into neighboring properties on May 10, 2019, at 5:25pm.

Possession Marijuana – Two juveniles ages 17 and 13 were charged with Possession of Marijuana on May 12 at 18:02 hours. Police initiated a traffic stop in the area of the 2300 block of King Street for the juvenile’s vehicle failing to have the vehicle’s headlamps illuminated as required during adverse weather conditions; at the time of the stop it was actively raining. Upon approaching the vehicle a strong odor of marijuana emitted from the vehicle. Both juveniles acknowledged the possession of marijuana.

Motor Vehicle Theft Arrest – Michael Anthony Beenick, 32, Lebanon County Correctional Facility, was charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Access Device Fraud, Theft from Motor Vehicle, and Driving While Suspended after a police investigation into the theft of a vehicle from 1408 Fonderwhite Road. The vehicle, a 2015 Honda Odyssey with Ohio registration plates, was discovered missing at 7:32am on March 31, 2019. During the investigation police were able to establish the victim’s credit card, which was left in the vehicle, had been used in both Palmyra and Harrisburg. The vehicle was recovered in Lebanon City on April 1, 2019.

Union Township

The crime occurred as unknown actor(s) arrived at the E.D. Eckman construction site, at the above stated location, by an unknown means of travel between 5/13/19 at 2:30pm and 5/14/19 at 5:30am. The unknown actor(s) proceeded to remove a fuel pump with an attached gallon meter from a fuel tank, before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction, by an unknown means of travel.
