The annual Big 33 football game will be taking place next Monday night at Central Dauphin East Middle School’s Landis Field.

In the days leading up to the game, some of the preliminary events will be taking place in Lebanon.

This year’s Big 33 game will see a team of Pennsylvania high school football players take on their counterparts from Maryland.

The Pennsylvania team will hold practices at Hershey High School, while Palmyra Area High School will host the Maryland team.

On Friday, both teams will be going to the Lebanon VA Medical Center to visit with Veterans and have lunch, before returning to their host schools for practice.

The rest of the weekend will feature other events like “Buddy Day” and a special breakfast for players and host families on Sunday morning.

While there are no Lebanon County players on the Big 33 football roster, Palmyra’s Holly Balchunas and Northern Lebanon’s Katelyn Emborsky will be a part of the Big 33 cheerleading roster.

The Big 33 game will kickoff this Monday at 2:00pm at Landis Field, 4600 Locust Lane, Harrisburg.
