Coleman Memorial Park’s event calendar ensures no shortage of things to do in 2019.

Spinstock

One of the first events of the 2019 season is the Spinstock Flow Arts Festival, set to take place June 15 from 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Read more about the festival in LebTown’s coverage.

Tennis Camp

Tennis Camp for students will be held over several weeks at the park. Cost per student is $25, and classes are held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Classes for students are split up based on age and registration deadlines vary as follows:

  • Register by June 3 for ages 6-8 (classes held June 10-14)
  • Register by June 11 for ages 9-11 (classes held June 18-22)
  • Register by June 17 for ages 12-14 (classes held June 24-28)

Zumba in the Park

Every Saturday morning in June, starting at 9am, Lebanon City and Lebanon Valley YMCA will hold free dance fitness classes.

  • June 1 – Zumba with Lesley Beyer
  • June 8 – LaBlast with Georgie Wilson
  • June 15 – LaBlast with Georgie Wilson
  • June 22 – Zumba with Lesley Beyer
  • June 29 – Zumba with Lesley Beyer

Theater

Two major theatrical events are booked for the summer, the first being Mt. Gretna Kids Series’ production of The Rainbow Fish Musical, an adaptation of Marcus Pfister’s classic children’s book. The show will play at 2:30pm, June 29 at the bandshell. Admission is free, donations are welcome, and chairs are not provided.

The second musical of the summer will be Godspell, which LebTown detailed earlier this month. Tryout auditions for the iconic 1970s musical finished on the 19. The show will premiere August 16 and 17 at 6:00pm in the Veterans Memorial Amphitheater. As usual, entry is free but donations are welcome.

Harvest Festival

Later in the year is the annual Harvest Festival, taking place on October 19, from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Activities include pumpkin painting, hayrides, bounce houses, and carnival games.

Christkindl Market

And finally, the year will conclude with the Christkindl Market on December 7. This event is the Park’s biggest fundraiser of the year. More details to come as local vendors register.

Music in the Park

In addition to these events, the Music in the Park organization will host a variety of musical acts, including folk and band performers among others.

Below is a list of the musical events to be held at the Park. All shows are held on Sundays beginning at 7:00pm in the Coleman Park Veteran’s Memorial Amphitheater; food services will also be present. Concerts are free to attend, although donations are highly appreciated.

  • July 7 – Servant Stage Company
