City of Lebanon

A 61 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on 7-01-19 at 1805 hours on the 800 block of Cumberland Street.

A 52 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on 6-29-19 at 2352 hours on the 300 block of Spring Street.

A 20 year old N. Lebanon Township woman has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on 6-28-19 at 0249 hours at 7th and Miller Streets.

Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against a 67 year old N. Cornwall resident after contact with police on 6-21-19 at 1622 hours on the 1400 block of Maple Street.

A charge of Theft has been filed against Angel Benitez-Rivera a 26 year old Reading resident after being accused of taking a cellular phone as it lay on the counter in a store on 6-09-19 at 1710 hours at 502 Lehman Street. The phone belonged to another customer; total loss to the victim is $500.00.

Charges of Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked (DUI related) and Period for Required Lighted Lamps have been filed against Gerardo Rosario-Feliciano a 33 year old N. Lebanon Township resident after a traffic stop on 6-14-19 at 2211 hours on the 1100 block of Guilford Street.

Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Public Drunkenness have been filed against Katherine Alvarado-Gonzalez a 22 year old Lebanon resident after contact with police on 6-23-19 at 03215 hours on the 900 block of Cumberland Street.

Cornwall Borough

Vehicle Damage – A 47 year old Harrisburg man reported that as he was traveling north on SR 72 near North Cornwall Road on Friday, 5:10 PM, his vehicle was struck by an object that flew out of the bed of a pick-up truck traveling in the opposite direction. The object was determined to be a bumper purchased from a dealer in Manheim. Investigation continues to determine identity of the pick-up truck driver.

East Hanover Township

On July 2 at 2:47am, Troopers of PSP Jonestown responded to the 10000 block of Jonestown Road for a Burglary. The victim identified the actor as Jeremiah Burnette, a 30 year old Grantville, PA man. The victim explained that Burnette removed a screen and climbed through a bedroom window entering the residence. The victim explained she told him to leave, and Burnette then took her cell phone and a pack of Marlboro Menthol 100 cigarettes. Burnette then exited the residence and fled the area by foot in an unknown direction. Burnette was last seen wearing black basketball style shorts, and a maroon shirt. Anyone with information as to Burnette’s whereabouts is urged to call PSP Jonestown and reference incident number PA2019-867989. Charges to be prepared and filed.

Jackson Township, Heidelberg Township, and Myerstown Borough

This incident occurred as Barry Scaringi, a 63 year old Newmanstown man, stole $239,823 from an 89 year old Myerstown woman while acting as her Power of Attorney over the period January 2014 to December 2017. PSP Jonestown was assisted by the Forensic Financial Consultants, LLC of Lebanon during the extensive investigation. On this date the following charges were filed against Scaringi: Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition and Theft by Deception. An arrest warrant was issued and the defendant was arraigned before District Justice Anthony Verna. Unsecured bail was set at $100,000 and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for 8/8/19.

North Londonderry

A 21 year old Palmyra man was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic in connection with a crash that occurred on 7/2/2019. The man was traveling north on Campbelltown Road. His car left the roadway and struck a fire hydrant at 4 Campbelltown Road. The impact sheered the hydrant off the water supply line. His car had to be towed from the scene. The Palmyra Fire Department assisted on scene.

On June 19 at 11:52am, a 62 year old Palmyra man believed that while he was inside Wal-Mart an unknown person damaged his bicycle that he parked on the side of the store. He then used a large merchandise cart to ram an exterior door (38) times. The lock failed on the door and he entered the building. A store manager and Loss Prevention Officer were speaking with the man to tell him they watched the video and nobody touched his bicycle. He picked up his bicycle and threw it toward the store employees. He was cited for Disorderly Conduct.

South Londonderry Township Police

On June 29 at at 11:26am, Ryan McLaughlin, a 32 year old Palmyra man, was charged with simple assault, stalking, and harassment after the police were called to the scene of a domestic dispute.

On June 22 the South Londonderry Township Police were notified of a white male, around 6 feet tall approaching a woman in the parking lot of the Redner’s Warehouse Market. The male was reported to have offered the female money for “being hot.” The female fled and the male fled the area. Anyone with information regarding this incident or similar incident at the Redner’s Warehouse in Palmyra is asked to contact the South Londonderry Township Police Department at 717-838-1376.

A theft of a Blue Moon table umbrella occurred sometime overnight on June 22, 2019 at the Colebrook Tavern. Anyone with information is requested to contact the South Londonderry Township Police Department at 717-838-1376.

On June 21 at 11:19am, the South Londonderry Township Police Department, Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Company, and University EMS responded to a motor vehicle accident along Horseshoe Pike near 2761 Horseshoe Pike. A 79 year old Annville woman had been traveling west along Horseshoe Pike in a BMW station wagon when she left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The utility pole blocked the roadway and resulted in the loss of power in the Campbelltown area. The crash is still under investigation at this time.

This reportable accident occurred on Wednesday, June 26 at approximately 10:52am at the intersection of South Forge Road and Airport Road. This crash occurred when a 20 year old Palmyra woman struck the rear of a 36 year old Palmyra woman. The older woman was transported by ambulance to Hershey Medical Center for injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Glenn’s towing. The 20 year old woman was cited for Following Too Closely.

A 41 year old Mt Joy woman was charged on June 22 at 10:09pm with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a suspicious vehicle call in the game lands lot at the intersection of Rt 241 and Rt 341.

Brandon Orlowski, a 18 year old Palmyra man, is charged with trespassing onto a neighbor’s property along Old Farm Road in Palmyra and causing damage on June 12-13, making threats to harm the victim and her family, slapping and grabbing the buttocks and making derogatory comments to her.

West Cornwall Township

Deer Struck – A Mount Gretna woman struck a deer Monday, 7:33 AM, on SR 117, west of SR 72. No injury. Vehicle was drivable. The deer fled.

Accident – Occurred Friday, 3:29 PM, on SR 72 in front of the Speedway Mini-Market. Vehicles driven by a 70 year old Manheim woman; and a 26 year old Hatboro woman. The younger woman was transported to Wellspan Good Samaritan by First Aid 7 Safety Patrol EMS. Both vehicles required towing.
