Food, fireworks, and America.

It’s a special holiday weekend, which means that we’ve got a special holiday edition of the LebTown Weekend Planner!

From all of us at LebTown, be sure to have a happy and safe 4th of July!

Thursday 7/4 – The 4th of July

Lebanon City’s 4th of July Fireworks Celebration – Mayor Sherry Capello presents this annual fireworks display which takes place at Coleman’s Park. The fireworks will begin around 9pm. If rain forces the fireworks to be postponed, the makeup date is Friday, July 5.

Fish-For-Free Day at Stoever’s Dam – If you prefer to celebrate the 4th of July with the peace and solitude of fishing as opposed to the ear-drum shattering blast of fireworks, good news! July 4 is the second of two “Fish-For-Free” days at Stoever’s Dam. No license is required to fish in Pennsylvania waterways on this day. Find more info here.

Music at the Market – Music at the Market happens every Thursday from 11:30 to 1:00, and the 4th of July is no different. Grab some grub and listen to some great local music!

Friday 7/5

DDS Art Show at The Downtown Lounge – This art show will be taking place in the back room of The Downtown Lounge. DJ Derek from DDS will be spinning tunes during the show as well!

First Friday Art Walk – A monthly event that occurs on—get this—the first Friday of every month. Check out some cool local art in Downtown Lebanon!

Saturday 7/6

Summer Craft & Vendor Show at The Manor – From 9am-2pm check out Myerstown’s Tulpehocken Manor for a craft show. 60 crafters and vendors will be on hand. Admission is free and there will be door prizes. The Humane Society of Lebanon County will be in attendance with an adoptable dog. All profits will benefit the Kelo 43 Dominican Republic Mission Team Trip.

Summer Sessions Music Festival at Fireman’s Park in Fredericksburg – This year’s festival will feature six live bands as well as chicken barbecue and drinks from the Eagle Hotel.

Sunday 7/7

First Sunday Jazz Jam at Mount Gretna Craft Brewery – From 5:30pm-7:30pm listen to some local jazz musicians and even sit in with the band! Pianists, drummers, and bassists don’t need to bring their instruments.
