Interested in learning more about your family’s history?

The Lebanon Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will hold a free genealogy workshop on Saturday, July 27.

The event will occur at the Lebanon Historical Society, 926 Cumberland Street, from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

Members of the DAR, along with members of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) and Children of the American Revolution (CAR), will be available to assist guests at the event.

Guests will be provided with worksheets to organize past generations of family members and tools allowing them to research their family history.

The DAR, SAR, and CAR are comprised of individuals with roots going back to the American Revolution. They offer educational programs, preserve history, and support the military.

Information about the Lebanon DAR can be found on its website here and the genealogy workshop will also provide recruitment information to interested guests.
