Bethel Township

This crash occurred on Fredericksburg Road at its intersection with Mill Road, Bethel Township, Lebanon County. This crash occurred as Unit 2, a 2013 Dodge Dart driven by a 30 year old Lebanon man, was traveling south on Fredericksburg Road. Unit 1, a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder driven by a 40 year old Lebanon woman, was traveling east on Mill Road and made an improper entrance to Fredericksburg Road, attempting to travel north on Fredericksburg Road and into the direct travel path of Unit 2. Unit 1 was subsequently struck by Unit 2. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage to its drivers side hood, fender, bumper, and door at its 11 o’clock position. Additionally, Unit 1 sustained a cracked windshield and the driver’s side airbag for Unit 1 had deployed a a result of this crash. Operator 1 sustained apparent minor neck injuries and was transported to the Good Samaritan Hospital by Bethel Community Ambulance. Passenger 1 of Unit 1 sustained a right hand injury as a result of this crash and was transported to the Good Samaritan Hospital by Bethel Community Ambulance. Unit 2 sustained disabling damage to its front bumper hood, passenger’s side door and fender at its 1 o’clock position as a result of this crash. Unit 2 also sustained a cracked windshield and the driver’s side airbag for Unit 2 deployed as a result of this crash. Operator 2 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 and Unit 2 were both towed from the scene by Dale Richards Towing.

This two-vehicle crash occurred on July 17 at 4:20pm as both Unit 1, a 1997 Saturn Wagon, and Unit 2, a 2018 Toyota CHR, were traveling Westbound on Grebel Road. Unit 1 was following too closely behind Unit 2 as Unit 1 was attempting to pass Unit 2 via the opposing lane of travel. As Unit 1 attempted to pass Unit 2, Unit 1 failed to clear the opposing lane and almost struck an oncoming vehicle traveling Eastbound on Grebel Road. Unit 1 then quickly swerved back into the Westbound lane. Driver 1 was charged with Driving on the right side of the roadway.

City of Lebanon

A 21 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Dogs Running At Large and Vaccination Required after an incident on 6-21-19 at 1210 hours on the 700 block of Guilford Street.

A 32 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on 6-26-19 at 2312 hours on the 00 block of S. 5th Ave.

A 25 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct (loud music) on 7-07-19 at 0028 hours on the 300 block of S. 11th Street.

A 35 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on 7-20-19 at 2045 hours at N. 8th and Willow Streets.

A 38 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on 7-20-19 at 0251 hours on the 900 block Mifflin Street.

A charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia has been filed against Timothy Sauder a 31 year old Lebanon resident on 7-19-19 at 1400 hours on the 100 block of Cumberland Street. Sauder had contact with Lebanon County Probation Officers and is alleged to have possessed drug paraphernalia. He was incarcerated on the 19th on a probation violation.

Andrea Young a 27 year old Lebanon resident has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) on 7-21-19 at 2220 hours on the 100 block of S. 9th Street. Young is accused of striking the 5 year old victim several times with a belt causing minor injury. Young was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver. She was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $5,000 bail.

John Workman a 34 year old Lebanon resident has been charged with Strangulation (domestic violence related) Simple Assault on 7-20-19 at 1444 hours on the 500 block of Lehman Street. Workman is accused of punching the victim 27 year old victim several times and choking her to the point she could not breathe. She had minor injuries as a result of the assault. Workman was apprehended and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Thomas Capello and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $5,000 bail.

A charge of Disorderly Conduct has been filed against a 24 year old Lebanon man after an incident on 7-08-19 at 1407 hours at 400 S. 8th Street. He is accused of creating a disturbance in the lobby of the police department attempting to physically retrieve a cell phone from his father causing police to interfere to prevent an assault from occurring.

Charges of Simple Assault, Harassment and Disorderly Conduct have been filed against Lisa Brandt a 55 year old Lebanon resident and Stephanie Guilloty a 20 year old Lebanon resident after engaging in a fight on 7-07-19 at 1604 hours on the 1100 block of Guilford Street. Both Brandt and Guilloty had suffered minor injuries as a result of the altercation.

A 27 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Dogs Running At Large on 7-10-19 at 1545 hours on the 1300 block of Brandywine Street.

A 28 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Harassment after an incident on 7-09-19 at 2230 hours on the 900 block of Guilford Street.

A 56 year old woman with no permanent address has been cited for Public Drunkenness on 7-22-19 at 1929 hours at 7th and Willow Streets.

East Hanover Township

This crash occurred on July 21 at 2:07pm on Interstate 81 North at mile marker 82, East Hanover Township, Lebanon County. This crash occurred as Operator 2 was traveling north on Interstate 81 North in Unit 2, a 2003 Acura TL, and slowed for traffic ahead of Unit 2. Operator 1 was following too closely and Unit 1, a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country, struck the rear end of Unit 2. Unit 1 sustained mild damage to its front bumper at the 12 o’clock position and was able to be driven from the scene in its normal customary manner. Operator 1 and additional passengers of Unit 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 2 sustained moderate damage to its rear bumper, trunk, and passenger side rear quarter panel at the 5 o’clock position and was able to be driven from the scene in its normal customary manner. Operator 2 and additional passengers sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited with PA VC 3310 (Following Too Closely).

Jackson Township

This two vehicle crash occurred on July 10 at 7:20pm as Unit 1, a 2013 Volkswagen GLI, was attempting to complete a left hand turn onto SR 422 Eastbound from a stopped position upon Gable Drive. Unit 2, a 2002 Harley-Davidson Dynaglide, was traveling west on SR 422 Westbound. Unit 1 failed to clear the intersection before proceeding onto SR 422 Eastbound from a clearly posted stop sign, as Unit 1 was crossing over SR 422 Westbound Operator 1 did not see Unit 2 who had the right of way traveling on SR 422 Westbound and struck Unit 2 with its 11 o’clock position. The collision occurred in the middle of the “T” intersection. The crash caused Unit 2 to sustain disabling damage to its 12 o’clock position and Unit 1 sustained minor damage to its 10-11 o’clock position. Both units came to final rest upon the point of impact in the middle of the aforementioned “T” intersection. Driver Two, a 29 year old Womelsdorf man, was wearing a helmet and suspected only to have minor injuries.

On July 17 at 7:52 pm, members of PSP-Jonestown responded to Greenbriar Drive for a domestic dispute between a married 65 year old Myerstown man and a 72 year old Myerstown woman. During the dispute both parties engaged in a physical altercation; however no injuries were noted. Both parties have been cited for Harassment.

On July 18 at 3:32pm, PSP Jonestown responded to a death of apparent natural causes. No additional autopsy or toxicology testing is to be completed. (Name/location not provided.)

On June 28 at 12:29pm, two unknown actor were observed taking and concealing seven cans of similar advance formula, valued at $16.99 each, at Dutch-Way Farmer’s Market. The two unidentified suspects described as one W/H-Male and one W/H-Female fled the scene in an unknown direction in a white Dodge Neon bearing PA Registration KYN1564. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP-Jonestown at 717-865-2194.

North Londonderry Township

A 66 year old Hummelstown woman was cited for a stop sign violation in connection with a crash that occurred at the intersection of Maple Street and Circle Drive on July 21. The woman proceeded from a stop sign on Circle Drive and struck a vehicle operated by a 25 year old Harrisburg woman. The Harrisburg woman was traveling east on Maple Street at the time of the crash.

A 31 year old North Londonderry man was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and public drunkenness in connection with an incident that occurred on May 7.

On July 19th, police responded to the intersection of S. Railroad St. and Elm St for a (2) vehicle crash. A 19 year old Palmyra man’s vehicle entered the intersection as a 21 year old Palmyra woman was traveling south on S. Railroad St. A crash occurred, causing the Palmyra woman’s vehicle to strike a utility pole. She was treated by Life Lion EMS for minor injuries. No injuries were reported by the man. Both vehicles required towing. The man was to be cited with the stop sign violation.

Swatara Township

This crash occurred July 3 at 4:12pm on Interstate 78 West at Mile Marker 3.0, Swatara Township, Lebanon County. Operator 1 was traveling west on Interstate 78 in Unit 1, a 2020 Kia Soul, directly behind Unit 2, a 2019 Dodge Promaster. Operator 2 was traveling west on Interstate 78 in Unit 2 and slowed for traffic ahead when Unit 2 struck the rear of Unit 2. Operator 1 and additional passengers within Unit 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 sustained moderate front end damage at its 12 o’clock position and was able to be driven from the scene in its normal customary manner. Operator 2 and additional passengers within Unit 2 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 2 sustained mild rear end damage at its 6 o’clock position and was able to be driven from the scene in its normal customary manner. Operator 1 was cited with PA VC 3310 (Following Too Closely).

On July 9 at 4:23pm, the accused 54 year old Lebanon woman was observed eating from a container of watermelon, valued at $2.75, at BG’s Market on June 21. The Accused placed the container down in the market and fled the scene without paying for the container or its contents. A Non-Traffic Citation for Retail Theft was issued to the Accused with District Court 52-3-03.

Union Township

This two vehicle crash occurred on July 9 at 8:01pm as both Unit 1, a 2006 Ford F-250, and Unit 2, a 20011 Honda Odyssey, were traveling North on I81 Northbound at its second to most right lane. Both Unit’s were attempting to merge on to I78 Eastbound at its left lane. As both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were at the split on I81 Northbound and I78 Eastbound a 3rd unidentified unit swerved across the solid white lines that separate I81 Northbound and I78 Eastbound. Unit 2 evaded this 3rd Unidentified unit, described as a 2000 Freightliner, by utilizing its brakes however this caused Unit 1 to hit Unit 2’s 6 o’clock with its 12 o’clock.

This incident occurred July 10 at 11:55am at the residence of the 43 year old Jonestown man who was the victim of this crime in Union Township, Lebanon County. The victim reported a package delivered to his residence on July 1 was missing when he returned home from vacation on July 7.

This non-reportable crash occurred on July 8 at 3:05pm as Unit 1, a 2014 Freightliner Fleet, struck a parked Unit 2, a 2007 Honda Odyssey LX, by side-swiping Unit 2’s operator side with Unit 1’s passenger side. Unit 2 was parked approximately 2 feet from the side walk and Unit 2’s operators side tires were observed on the fog line. Unit 2 was observed to have multiple scratch marks on the operator side quarter panel, rear door, front door, and fender. Both the operator side fender and quarter panel were also observed to have dents. Both Operator 1 and Operator 2 were issued the Driver’s exchange information. No citations were issued.
