When the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series rolls into Dover International Speedway on October 6, a local company will have its branding all over the race.

The Drydene 400 will be sponsored by Drydene Performance Products, a Jonestown-based company that specializes in automotive, commercial, and industrial lubricants.

However Drydene’s presence at the Monster Mile won’t end with the name of the race.

During the press conference held in front of the Dover International Speedway’s iconic Monster Monument, it was also announced that Drydene will serve as the primary sponsor for driver Corey LaJoie during the race.

“Drydene Performance Products is thrilled to announce the inaugural Drydene 400 and bringing Corey LaJoie onto Team Drydene,” said Dave Klinger, President of Drydene Performance Products. “A partnership with the iconic track at Dover is a natural fit: like Drydene, Dover International Speedway is part of American racing heritage.”

The Drydene logo will grace the hood LaJoie’s No. 32 Ford Mustang, owned by Go Fas Racing.

“I’m excited to partner with Drydene for the Drydene 400 at Dover,” said Corey LaJoie. “Their support of racing as a whole makes this a great match, and we’re excited to take it to the next level.”

LaJoie, who is in his first full season with the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, is the son of Randy LaJoie, the 1996 and 1997 NASCAR Xfinity Series champion. His grandfather, Don Lajoie, is a member of the New England Auto Racing Hall of Fame.

It was also announced a sweepstakes that fans will have the opportunity to enter to win a 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350.

If LaJoie wins any stage of the Drydene 400, one fan will take home the car, which comes courtesy of of Hertrich Ford of Milford, Delaware. (You can enter for your chance to win the car here.)

The Drydene 400 will take place on October 6. Coverage can be seen on NBC Sports Network starting at 2:30pm.
