If all goes according to plan, come November, Downtown Lebanon’s roster of bars and eateries will be seeing a new addition: The Red-Headed League Public House.

Update Nov. 20: The opening schedule has been announced! The Red-Headed League Public House will open at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, with full kitchen service until 9 p.m., late night menu until 10 p.m., and bar service until midnight. See the full opening week schedule below.

The Red-Headed League Public House is slated to be perched on the top floor of the Lebanon Farmers Market in the location formerly occupied by Foundry Craft Grillery, and Niko’s before that.

According to a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page, the new establishment’s goal will be to provide a space for the community to come together.

In fact, even the name “The Red-Headed League” has roots that run deep within the community. It’s the title of a short-story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, that was inspired by the Blue-Eyed Six.

The same Facebook post outlined the current plan for what future guests can expect from the Red-Headed League Public House.

An “American grill” menu will be served in a large dining area that will be the perfect place for a family dinner, date night, business lunch or dinner.

A bar area will feature live music on weekends, a diverse cocktail menu, a selection of appetizers headlined by wood-fire pizzas, and additional televisions which will provide an ideal experience for watching games

The Red-Headed League Public House will offer some accommodations for larger groups in both the Steitz and Worrilow Rooms.

The Steitz Room is capable of being reconfigured based on needs and can be turned into a lounge or a room suitable for a small luncheon.

The Worrilow Room is a 3,000-square foot banquet hall that is located right down the hall from the restaurant’s main area, and would be a suitable venue for everything from birthday parties to award banquets.

While it appears that details are still being worked out, the Facebook post mentions a targeted opening date of sometime in November.
