From noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 23, Democratic nominee for the Pennsylvania Senate District 48 special election Michael Schroeder will hold a campaign kickoff and rally at Annville Town Square.

The event will take place near the intersection of Route 934 and Route 422 in downtown Annville. Free parking will be available a block away in the parking lot behind Annville Town Hall (36 N. Lancaster St.).

The poster for Schroeder’s kickoff event promotes him as providing “Solid Commitment to the Public Good,” “Climate Action for Working People,” and “Authenticity, Integrity, Service.”

“I am thrilled to bring my message of fresh, bold, authentic leadership with integrity and genuine public service to the voters and citizens of Lebanon, Dauphin, and York counties,” said Schroeder in a press release Nov. 18.

Schroeder, a Lebanon Valley College history professor, was named the Democratic Party’s nominee Oct. 20.
