We are just days away from Christmas. If you haven’t snagged your gifts yet, Downtown Lebanon might have just the thing you need.

Lebanon’s Christmas tree, which was lit in a Nov. 22 ceremony hosted by the Community of Lebanon Association.

We didn’t get to visit all the stores in the area with holiday gifts, but we tried to hit as many as possible.

First up: Downtown Lebanon comic shop AA Comics and Cards (610 Cumberland St). Open from noon to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and until 9 p.m. on Sunday, the store has gift certificates available, as well as the usual selection of toys, comics, and and collectible cards.

Maybe a new bike is your holiday ticket? Deluxx Bikes (720 Cumberland St) has its whole bicycle inventory on sale currently for the holiday season along with layaway options.

Deluxx Bikes is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Loser’s Music (728 Cumberland St), open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, has “instrumental” Christmas ornaments for sale, ranging from “bongos” to “violas.” Loser’s also has other sales and promotions going on right now.

How about something for that friend or loved one who has a sweet tooth? Wertz Candies (718 Cumberland St), in the confectionary business since 1931, is well-known for its delicious small-batch caramel corn, with plenty of sizes available as well as decorative Christmas tins available for holiday gift giving.

Even the popcorn is popped in house, the first step to making the way-too-easy-to-snack-on treat.

Life is sweet at Wertz – “blob bars” are another popular option, incorporating Wertz’s own caramel. Wertz Candies is open Friday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wrinkle & Boon (12 N 9th St) is another great stop along the way. Whether you are picking up a hot drink to warm up, or browsing their curated selection of local goods for sale, the Downtown Lebanon coffeeshop is a pleasant retreat mid-shopping excursion. Open until 7 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Whether picking up a gift card or maybe a “treat” for yourself, Snitz Creek Brewery (7 N 9th St) is a great end-point for your walk in Downtown Lebanon. Snitz Creek’s Opera Fudge Stout is an especially fitting gift for any beer-loving Lebanon Countian, combining the independently great concepts of “Opera Fudge” and, well, beer.

Mike Finkle of Snitz Creek Brewery showcases one of the restaurant’s holiday displays as well as an Opera Fudge Stout.

Snitz Creek Brewery is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

We want to know: What’s your favorite place to shop in Downtown Lebanon? Let us know your suggestion below and we might feature it in an upcoming article.

To help encourage shopping downtown, Downtown Lebanon Main Street has also setup a “Holiday Passport” promotion that will see one lucky winner receive a decked-out gift basket featuring goods from all the participating stores.

To enter the contest, spend at least $200 at the stores below and submit your completed passport (PDF) at the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce, The Important Thing (insider the Farmers Market), or Wrinkle & Boon by Jan. 3.
