The groundhogs may have disagreed, but a sure sign of spring is the annual Lebanon County Builders Association (LCBA) Home and Garden Show this week at the Lebanon Valley Exposition Center & Fairgrounds.

The 2020 Show will be the 49th for the LCBA and will be open Wednesday through Saturday Feb. 19 to 22.

  • Wednesday & Thursday 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Friday 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Admission is $5.00 for ages 16 and over. Parking is free. Admission fees benefit LCBA scholarship programs.

If you’re a homeowner with ideas on how to take your living space to the next level, the Home and Garden Show is the place to go. It’s also a good place to get ideas and have some fun while you’re there.

According to an Association press release, this year’s event will showcase nearly 120 booths featuring businesses and services with displays and helpful advice from company experts. Many will offer their product for sale at the show.

Among the exhibitors at the show will be builders, contractors, kitchen and bath remodelers, landscapers, window and door companies, plumbing and heating businesses, furniture, and even an interior designer. Financial institutions will be on site to help turn your ideas into reality. You can see the complete list of participants on the LCBA website.

A popular recent addition to the show returns with the 5th Annual Friday Night Wine Festival from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Seven area wineries and a couple breweries will offer their products for tasting and purchase by the glass or bottle. Your $5.00 show admission includes the wine tasting event. Double-bottle wine totes will be given out to the first 100 customers.

To make the evening complete, a host of food vendors and crafters will also have samples for tasting and sale. From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. you’ll enjoy the musical talents of the DMC Duo. Darrell and Marisa perform a mix of pop, rock, country and oldies. The LCBA says 1,400 people visited the Wine and Food tasting event last year.
