Cornwall Borough

Trespassing – A 19 year old Lebanon man, an 18 year old Lebanon woman, and a 19 year old Lebanon man were cited for an incident on April 6, 2020 at 5:19 p.m. at the Carriage House on Freeman Estate property.

East Hanover Township

Vandalism – PSP Jonestown Troopers are investigating an incident involving a vandalized mailbox which occurred on the 00 block of Old Canal Dr. This incident occurred between April 9, 2020 at 9:00 p.m. and April 10, 2020 at 5:02 p.m. In the commission of this crime, unknown Actor(s) removed the lid of the mailbox as well as the flag on the side. The victim was a 23 year old Annville man. The property damage included a dark tan mailbox valued at $100. Anyone with information regarding this incident is requested to contact PSP Jonestown.

One-vehicle Crash – On April 13, 2020 at 11:39 a.m., this crash occurred on Interstate 81 South at mile marker 85. This crash occurred as Operator 1, a 24 year old Lithonia, GA man, was traveling south on Interstate 81 South in Unit 1, a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia. Operator 1 was traveling too fast for conditions and unable to successfully navigate Unit 1 through a left curve in the roadway. Unit 1 subsequently traversed off the right shoulder of the roadway, striking an embankment. Unit 1 sustained disabling front end damage at its 1 o’clock position and was towed from the scene by H&S Towing. Operator 1 and Passenger 1, a 44 year old Utica, NY man, of Unit 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited with PA VC 3361 (Driving at Safe Speeds).

Jackson Township

Verbal Dispute – On April 11, 2020 at 6:50 p.m., PSP-Jonestown responded to the 00 block of Grasshopper Ct. for a report of a dispute between neighbors. Through investigation, it was learned the altercation was verbal and not physical; however, none of the individuals involved wished to be victims of this incident. Victims include a 12 year old Myerstown male. No charges will be filed as both parties refused to prosecute.

Lebanon City

Retail Theft – A 41 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Retail Theft after investigation into an incident on April 11, 2020 at 11:04 a.m. at 950 Church St. Perez is accused of taking merchandise (automobile air fresheners) totaling $72.50 without paying for said items.

Scattering Rubbish – A 30 year old Lebanon man, has been cited for Scattering Rubbish after investigation of an incident on April 7, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. on the 400 block of Hornet St. He is accused of taking bags from the trunk of a car and throwing the bags alongside of a garage on property that does not belong to him and without permission from the owner of said property.

Disorderly Conduct – A 57 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct after an incident on March 29, 2020 at 4:18 p.m. on the 1000 block of Walton St.

Disorderly Conduct – A 31 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Disorderly Conduct after being accused of interfering with officers during the arrest of a subject being taken into custody on a warrant for his arrest on March 23, 2020 at 9:14 p.m. on the 300 block of North 8th St.

Public Drunkenness – A 39 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on April 5, 2020 at 1:20 p.m. on the 700 block of Lehman St.

Disturbance – A 24 year old Lebanon man, a 25 year old Lebanon woman, a 27 year old Lebanon woman, a 21 year old Lebanon woman, and a 47 year old North Lebanon Township woman have all been cited for creating a disturbance while fighting on March 8, 2020 at 7:46 p.m. at 8th St. and Cumberland St. No one was injured during this incident.

Harassment – A 21 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Harassment after an incident on April 5, 2020 at 4:51 a.m. on the 200 block of South 4th St.

DUI, Careless Driving – Charges of Driving Under the Influence, Careless Driving, and Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic have been filed against Samantha Schaeffer, a 24 year old Womelsdorf woman, after a traffic stop on March 20, 2020 at 12:23 a.m. on the 1500 block of Cumberland St. Police allege her BAC was .156% at the time of the stop.

DUI, Reckless Driving – Charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or a Controlled Substance, Reckless Driving, and Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked have been filed against Kenneth Baez, a 24 year old Middletown man, after a traffic stop on April 8, 2020 at 1:55 a.m. on the 1500 block of Lafayette St. Baez refused to submit to a blood alcohol test.

North Lebanon Township

Harassment, Criminal Mischief – A 36 year old Lebanon man was charged with Harassment and Criminal Mischief as a result of an incident that occurred at his residence, located on the 00 block of East Brookfield Dr., on April 14, 2020.

Pine Grove Township

One-vehicle Crash – This one-vehicle crash occurred on March 19, 2020 at 1:19 p.m. on I 81 south near mile marker 102.1. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2005 Freightliner, was traveling south in the left lane. As Operator 1, a 44 year old Camp Hill man, began to make a lane change into the right lane, he observed fire and smoke coming from under the hood of his truck. Operator 1 pulled the vehicle onto the shoulder. Unit 1 then became fully involved with fire. The trailing unit was not affected. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of the fire. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Hammers Towing.

Union Township

Two-vehicle Crash – This crash occurred on April 10, 2020 at 3:52 p.m. as Unit 1, a 2016 Honda Civic, and Unit 2, a 2017 Ram Promaster, were traveling south on I 81 near mile marker 88.0. Unit 1 was traveling in the right-hand lane. Unit 2 was traveling in the left-hand lane, just behind Unit 1. Operator 1, for an unknown reason, did not observe Unit 2 while changing lanes and in doing so struck the front end of Unit 2. Unit 1 sustained a dent to the front, driver side bumper. Unit 2 sustained scuff marking and paint transfer to the front, passenger side bumper. Both Operator 1 and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of this crash and reported no injuries. No airbags were deployed as a result of this crash. Both Operators were issued a Non-reportable Drivers Exchange Report and an Application to Receive a Copy of the Crash Report (SP 7-20015TX) on scene.

Drug Possession – On April 10, 2020 at 10:59 a.m., State Police responded to Fort Swatara Rd. and Batz Ln. to assist Northern Lebanon Fire and Emergency Services with a brush fire. Upon arrival, it was determined the Actor was still on scene. She was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. She also admitted to accidentally starting a fire. Charges are pending. The woman’s name was not included in the PSP release.

West Cornwall Township

Theft – A Quentin man reported that a 24′ Louisville chicken ladder, silver in color, was stolen from the 100 block of North Zinns Mill Rd. between March 31 and April 11. The ladder is valued at $300.
