Bethel Township

Harassment – This incident occurred on May 6, 2020 at 8:25 p.m. on Elk Dr. In the commission of this crime, a 27 year old Lebanon woman did confront her husband, a 34 year old Lebanon man, in the garage of their residence about dating another woman. An argument ensued and the woman did press her chest against the man’s chest, pushing him. The man then pushed the woman approximately four times with his chest before pushing her into a pane of glass.

Vehicle Accident – On May 6, 2020 at 7:07 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2012 General MTRS Corp Sierra, driven by Operator 1, a 20 year old Schuylkill Haven man, was traveling east on Sherwin Williams Dr., west of Fir St. As Unit 1 was traveling east on Sherwin Williams Dr., Unit 1 began to rotate clockwise in the eastbound lane of the roadway. At this time, Unit 1 traveled off the right side of the eastbound lane of Sherwin Williams Dr. and struck a utility pole with the 9 o’clock position on the vehicle. After initial impact, Unit 1 continued off the right side of the roadway, impacting a ditch with the 11 o’clock position on the vehicle. Unit 1 traveled down the ditch, coming to final rest off the right side of the eastbound lane of Sherwin Williams Dr., west of Fir St., facing east. There were no injuries as a result of this crash.

Vehicle Accident – On May 5, 2020 at 6:57 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2015 Ford C-Max, driven by Operator 1, a 27 year old Myerstown man, was traveling west on Shirksville Rd. Operator 1 was traveling too fast for conditions of the roadway and was unable to properly negotiate a curve in the roadway. As a result, Unit 1 was out of control and exited the right side of the roadway, striking an unoccupied parked vehicle, Unit 2, a 2019 Ford Transit, in an adjacent driveway. Unit 2 was pushed into Unit 3, a 2013 Ram 1500, another unoccupied parked vehicle in the driveway. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage to its right front portion. Unit 1 was towed from the scene. Both struck vehicles in the driveway sustained impact damage. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of this crash.

Cornwall Borough

Vehicle Accident – On May 1, 2020 at 3:30 p.m., a vehicle accident occurred on the ramp from SR 72 to SR 117 involving Operator 1, a 16 year old Northwood Dr., West Cornwall Twp. resident, and Operator 2, a 36 year old Hamburg resident. No injuries occurred as a result of this accident. Vehicles were drivable from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – On May 3, 2020 at 2:18 p.m., a vehicle accident occurred on Boyd St. at the State Game lands parking lot when Operator 1, a 23 year old Lititz resident, drifted into a vehicle owned by Operator 2, a Lebanon resident. No injuries occurred as a result of this accident. Both vehicles were drivable from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – On May 1, 2020 at 10:53 p.m., a vehicle accident occurred east of Rexmont Rd. when Operator 1, a 31 year old Lebanon resident, failed to negotiate a curve, driving off the roadway and over an embankment. No injuries occurred as a result of this accident. The vehicle was towed.

North Londonderry Township

Ashley Sutherly was charged with three counts of felony retail theft. The charges come in connection with three separate retail thefts that occurred at Wal-Mart, located at 100 North Londonderry Sq., on April 3, 2020, April 4, 2020, and May 4, 2020. The total dollar amount for all three thefts was $935.94.

West Cornwall Township

Burglary – During the early morning hours on Monday, May 4, 2020, a burglary occurred at the Fairview Golf Course, located at 2399 Quentin Rd., maintenance shed where a 2016 Cushman gas-powered golf cart was stolen and driven to the area of Rita Ln. in Lebanon City. During its travels, the cart drove through a number of yards in North Cornwall Twp. and Lebanon City, resulting in damage to the properties. The cart, valued at $6,500, sustained engine damage during the journey. The investigation continues.

Vehicle Accident – On Sunday, May 3, 2020 at 12:08 p.m., a vehicle accident occurred on SR 117 at Boulevard Ave., involving Operator 1, a 48 year old Myerstown man, and a 17 year old Hummelstown female. No injuries occurred as a result of this accident. Both vehicles were drivable from the scene.

Criminal Mischief – An incident on the property of Eagle Rental, located at 2530 Quentin Rd., that occurred during the afternoon on May 2, 2020, remains under investigation. A resident in the Quentin Hunt development, which adjoins Eagle Rental property, chopped down two trees on Eagle Rental property with the intention of constructing a raised garden in a buffer zone between the two parcels. The value of the trees was not immediately provided.

Hit & Run – Brent Liddell, a 54 year old Richland, WA man, has been charged for an accident on March 23, 2020 at 7:21 p.m., on SR 322 at SR 419. Liddell was operating a tractor-trailer westbound on SR 322 when he passed and struck another westbound tractor-trailer and failed to stop. Liddell was apprehended by South Londonderry Twp. police when he entered their township on SR 322. He is also charged with Driving at Safe Speed and Reckless Driving. The driver of the stuck vehicle was not injured.
