Bethel Township

Vehicle Accident – On Aug. 22, 2020 at 1:20 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe, was traveling westbound on I 78 near mile marker 4.2 in Bethel Twp. Operator 1 was slowing down for traffic conditions ahead when Unit 1’s tires lost contact with the wet road surface, causing Operator 1 to lose control of Unit 1. Unit 1 exited the roadway via the right shoulder, where it hit a mile marker sign. Unit 1 sustained damage to the front-end. The driver’s side bumper was dented and partially torn from Unit 1. The driver’s side headlight was also broken. Operator 1 was wearing a seatbelt at the time of this crash and reported no injuries. No airbags were deployed as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was issued an Application to Receive a Copy of the Crash Report (SP 7-20015TX) on scene.

Cold Spring Township

Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 1, 2020 at 3:25 p.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2008 Kia Spectra, driven by Operator 1, a 60 year old Saint Clair woman, was traveling south on Gold Mine Rd. Unit 1, attempting to negotiate a left curve, lost control and spun in a counterclockwise motion. Unit 1 then struck a guide rail located on the right shoulder of the southbound lane of travel, facing southwest.

Cornwall Borough

Criminal Trespass – A 20 year old Lebanon man, an 18 year old Lebanon woman, an 18 year old Mt. Gretna man, and a 17 year old South Lebanon Twp. female have been charged with Criminal Trespass for an incident that occurred on Aug. 11, 2020 at 8:40 p.m. at Conrad Enterprises property, located at 200 Rexmont Rd.

East Hanover Township

Found Property – On Aug. 31, 2020 at approximately 5:19 p.m., a concerned citizen found prop money at the Funck’s Restaurant, located at the physical address of 1805 North 934, Annville, PA 17003. The item was found laying on the parking lot. Anyone with information regarding the owner(s) of the above-described item please contact PSP Jonestown.

Vehicle Accident – On Aug. 31, 2020 at 11:44 p.m., this crash occurred on SR 22 West in the area between Zion Church Rd. and Bullfrog Rd. SR 22 in the area of this crash is a four-lane divided asphalt highway with two westbound lanes and two eastbound lanes. The posted speed limit is 55 mph. The westbound and eastbound lanes are divided by a concrete barrier and have useable shoulders. Unit 1, a 2009 Subaru Outback, driven by Operator 1, a 36 year old Fredericksburg man, was traveling in the right westbound lane. Unit 1’s right front corner struck a live beef cow that was in the right westbound lane. After initial impact, Unit 1 came to final rest at the intersection of SR 22 and Bullfrog Rd. After initial impact, the cow was thrown to the right westbound shoulder and died as a result of the collision.

Vehicle Accident, Accidents Involving Damage To Attended Property – On Aug. 24, 2020 at 4:19 p.m., this crash occurred on Jonestown Rd., at house #9873. This was a single-vehicle crash that occurred as Unit 1, a 2007 Ford 500, driven by Operator 1, a 48 year old Lebanon man, was actively fleeing from police. Unit 1 was traveling west on Jonestown Rd. at approximately 90 mph prior to the crash. As Unit 1 approached the area of house #9873, Operator 1 attempted to turn left to evade police. Unit 1 then struck the front of house #9873 and came to final rest with the front end in the living room of the residence. Unit 1 sustained damage to its front bumper and hood. House #9873 sustained major damage to its front wall. Operator 1 fled the crash scene and was not located. Operator 1 was charged with Accidents Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle or Property. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Blatt and Tillet.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident – On Aug. 29, 2020 at 10:59 p.m., this crash occurred on SR 501 Southbound, just south of Mountain Trail Rd. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by Operator 1, a 17 year old Manheim female, crested a hill and began traveling on a slight downhill grade. Unit 1 crossed over into the northbound lane, traveling in a southeast direction. Unit 1 left the roadway and traveled southbound through a grassy area. Unit 1 struck a fence. Unit 1 rolled over and struck two pine trees. Unit 1 continued southbound into a cornfield. Unit 1 came to final rest, on its roof, with its front end facing westbound, and caught fire. Operator 1 exited the vehicle. Operator 1 reported minor injuries but was transported to Lancaster General Hospital, by Schaefferstown Emergency Medical Services, for further evaluation. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Schaefferstown EMS, Schaefferstown Fire Department, Schaefferstown Fire Police, and Brickerville Fire Department.

Myerstown Borough

Harassment – On Aug. 26, 2020 at 3:27 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to the 100 block of West Main Ave. for a report of a domestic altercation. Upon arrival on scene, it was discovered that the mother, W/N-F, 50 year old Myerstown resident, had struck her son/the Victim, a 31 year old Myerstown man, in the face. The involved parties were separated and a Harassment charge will be filed against the mother/the Arrestee. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Trooper Hartzell. PSP is investigating.

Neglected Care For Serious Injury – On Aug. 22, 2020 at 6:50 p.m., PSP Jonestown received a report of a possible incident of neglect at West Park Ave. The Victim was a 90 year old Sinking Spring woman. The investigation continues.

North Cornwall Township

Drug Possession – On Aug. 8, 2020 at approximately 2:36 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers conducted a traffic stop on South 22nd St. and North 22nd St. in North Cornwall Twp. A probable cause search of the vehicle, a 1998 Honda Civic, found the Operator, a 20 year old Allentown man, to be in possession of marijuana. Appropriate charges are to be filed.

North Lebanon Township

Vehicle Accident, Driving On Roadways Laned For Traffic – On Aug. 18, 2020 at 10:53 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2015 Ford Taurus X, driven by Operator 1, a 27 year old Jonestown man, was traveling eastbound on Kochenderfer Rd., just west of Parkway Dr. A trash can was on the south shoulder of the roadway, near the fog line. Unit 1 crossed over the fog line, on the south shoulder of the roadway, and its passenger’s side mirror struck the trash can. The mirror struck, and broke, Unit 1’s passenger’s side window. Unit 1 stopped near the area of impact. The trash can did not sustain any damage and remained near the area of impact. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Simple Assault, Harassment – Jacqueline Deimler, a 25 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Simple Assault and Harassment after an incident that occurred on Aug. 28, 2020 at her residence.

Drug Violations – Lucas Kutch, a 19 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after a stop in the 400 block of Ebenezer Rd.

North Londonderry Township

Retail Theft – On Aug. 31, 2020 at 8:00 a.m., a 20 year old Palmyra man was charged with 6 counts of Retail Theft upon the conclusion of an investigation. Ferg took items totaling $345.00 from Wal-Mart, located at 100 North Londonderry Sq., without paying.

PA State Dog Law, Confinement Of Dogs – On Aug. 29, 2020 at 10:24 a.m., North Londonderry Twp. police cited a 26 year old Annville man with PA State Dog Law / Confinement of Dogs. This resulted after a motorist found Sensenig’s dog running at large in the area of Lexington Dr.

Vehicle Accident, Driving On Roadways Laned For Traffic – On Aug. 28, 2020 at 3:14 p.m., North Londonderry Twp. police cited an 18 year old Palmyra woman with Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic. The woman was traveling south in the 600 block of Plaza Dr. when the vehicle she was operating exited her lane of travel, crossing the northbound lane, and then exited the roadway. Her vehicle then struck a cattle fence and a utility pole. The woman wasn’t injured from the crash, but her vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

Vehicle Accident, Driving Vehicle At Safe Speeds – On Aug. 29, 2020 at 6:54 a.m., police responded to a single-vehicle accident in which the vehicle rolled out. Police made contact with the driver, an 18 year old Annville woman, who stated that she lost control negotiating a left curve, causing her to lose control of her vehicle. The vehicle struck an embankment before rolling over on to the passenger’s side. No injuries were reported. The woman was cited with Driving Vehicle at Safe Speeds. The citation was filed with DJ Garver’s Office. The vehicle required towing by Rambler’s.

Vehicle Accident, Hit And Run – On Aug. 30, 2020 at 3:53 p.m., the North Londonderry Twp. police department is investigating a vehicle accident in which a black 2009 Mercedes-Benz sedan drove through a fence on the 00 block of Palmyra Bellegrove Rd. and fled prior to police arrival. The vehicle suffered major damage to the front driver’s side of the vehicle. The damage estimate for the fence is pending. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the police department.

Vehicle Accident, Safe Speeds – On Sept. 1, 2020 at 11:53 a.m., the North Londonderry Twp. police department investigated a rollover motor vehicle accident on the 800 block of North Forge Rd. The accident occurred when a juvenile male, a 17 year old Palmyra resident, was traveling south on Forge Rd., too fast for the conditions. The Operator lost control of his vehicle, which rolled over onto its passenger’s side. No injuries were reported at the scene. The Operator was cited with Safe Speeds (Summary).

Vehicle Accident, Red Light Violation – On Sept. 1, 2020 at 11:25 a.m., a 31 year old Palmyra man was charged with a Red Light Violation after colliding with a vehicle driven by a 39 year old Harrisburg man on Main St. and Apple Blossom Ln. A 26 year old Schaefferstown woman, a passenger in the Palmyra man’s vehicle, was transported to HMC for injuries.

Pine Grove Township

Vehicle Accident – On Aug. 31, 2020 at 8:19 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2016 International Harvester Toter, was traveling south on the Exit 100 on-ramp towards I 81 South in Pine Grove Twp. Unit 1 was negotiating a right-hand curve in the roadway when, for an unknown reason, Unit 1’s trailer began to jackknife. Operator 1 attempted to counter-steer, causing Unit 1’s trailing unit to overturn, where it exited the roadway and struck a guide rail. Unit 1 sustained damage to the front bumper. The front passenger’s side bumper was dented. Unit 1’s trailing unit sustained scratches to the left side. Operator 1 was wearing a seatbelt at the time of this crash and reported no injuries. No airbags were deployed as a result of this crash. PennDOT was notified of damage to the guide rail. Operator 1 was issued an Application to Receive a Copy of the Crash Report (SP 7-20015TX) on scene.

South Lebanon Township

Harassment By Prisoner – On Aug. 15, 2020 at 3:30 p.m., this incident occurred on East Walnut St. as the Actor, a 36 year old Hershey woman, did attempt to strike the Victim, a 36 year old Lebanon woman (LCCF Correctional Officer). OC spray was deployed and the Actor was detained.

Swatara Township

Vehicle Accident, Driving Vehicle At Safe Speeds – On Aug. 29, 2020 at 9:35 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2016 Kia Soul, was traveling on I 81 South near mile marker 94.5. Operator 1, traveling in the right lane, when she lost control of Unit 1 and struck the guide rail along the east shoulder. Unit 1 sustained minor contact damage to the passenger’s side front and rear fenders. Operator 1 reported no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 drove Unit 1 from the scene. There was no visible damage to the guide rail. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speeds.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident – On Aug. 27, 2020 at 9:27 a.m., this crash occurred in the parking lot of Love’s truck stop, located just west of Old Forge Rd. Unit 1, a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia, was driving in reverse in the parking lot, attempting to park. Unit 2, a 2020 Ford F250 Supercab, was approaching Unit 1’s rear. Unit 1 did not see Unit 2 approaching and subsequently struck the driver’s side front fender of Unit 2. Unit 1 had no visible damage. Unit 2 sustained minor contact damage. Both Operator 1 and Operator 2 reported no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 and Operator 2 were issued an application to obtain a crash report and a driver exchange form. Both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were driven from the scene.

Drug Possession – On Aug. 23, 2020 at 12:06 p.m., PSP conducted a traffic stop on a black Honda Accord bearing a PA Registration, for multiple traffic violations, on the 900 block of I 81 North at mile marker 90.5. During the traffic stop, the odor of marijuana was detected. Upon a probable cause search of the vehicle, two clear plastic baggies containing marijuana and a pink metallic grinder were found and seized for evidence. The passenger of the vehicle, W/H-F, 25 year old Lancaster resident, admitted ownership of said contraband. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Trooper Achenbach and Trooper Leganza. Appropriate charges are to be filed. PSP is investigating.

Drug Possession – On Sept. 1, 2020 at 8:46 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to Lickdale Rd. for a check the welfare. Investigation revealed the male involved, a 29 year old Lebanon resident, was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The vehicle involved was a 2008 Mazda Mazda 3.

Theft – On Aug. 28, 2020 at 12:48 p.m., the Victim, a 22 year old Richland woman, arrived at PSP Jonestown to report that she lost money in some sort of scam. Upon interviewing the Victim, she related that she received a phone call on Aug. 27, 2020 from a Keith Dawson, who related that he was law enforcement and advised the Victim that she was under investigation for a crime and had to pay him money. The Victim paid approximately $15,000 to Dawson during this incident until she realized that it was possibly a scam and reported it. PSP is investigating.

DUI – On Aug. 15, 2020 at 1:35 a.m., Michael Sholly, a 34 year old Jonestown man, was stopped in a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado on Fisher Ave. and SR 72 for a traffic violation and showed signs of impairment. He was taken into custody for DUI. Charges were filed in Magisterial District Court 52-3-04 and are pending a Preliminary Hearing.

Drug Possession – On Aug. 18, 2020 at 3:33 p.m., State Police stopped a 2020 Nissan Rogue on the 00 block of I 78 West after observing a traffic violation. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and cocaine. The Arrestee was Mohalee King, a 30 year old Newark, NJ man. Charges are to be filed.

West Cornwall Township

Disorderly Conduct, Underage Drinking – A 20 year old Mountville man has been charged with Disorderly Conduct and Underage Drinking for an incident that occurred on Aug. 24, 2020 at 8:53 p.m. at Governor Dick Park, located at 3283 Pinch Rd. Haley Hixon, a 19 year old Hummelstown resident, was charged with Disorderly Conduct in the same incident.

West Lebanon Township

Receiving Stolen Property – Farrell Vanscyoc, a 28 year old Palmyra resident, was charged with Receiving Stolen Property after being in possession of a stolen social security card in the 2,300 block of Lehman St.
