Public Drunkenness, Disorderly Conduct – A 33 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct on Nov. 8, 2020 at 1:58 a.m. on the 00 block of North 7th St.

Public Drunkenness – A 32 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on Nov. 7, 2020 at 12:42 a.m. on the 00 block of South 8th St.

Drug Possession, Duties At Stop Signs – Charges of Possession With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Duties at Stop Signs have been filed against Alexander Martinez, a 19 year old Lebanon resident, after a traffic stop on Sept. 7, 2020 at 1:15 p.m. on the 00 block of South 4th St.

Drug Possession, Public Drunkenness – Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Public Drunkenness have been filed against Amanda Deppert, a 26 year old Jonestown resident, after contact with police on Sept. 4, 2020 at 8:48 p.m. on the 400 block of South 9th St.

Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunkenness – James Smith, a 69 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness after an incident on Nov. 7, 2020 at 11:57 p.m. on the 300 block of South 16th St. Smith was taken into custody and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Maria Dissinger and released on $2,000 unsecured bail.

Cornwall Borough

Scam – An elderly Cornwall Boro. woman reported on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 that she lost $2,000.00 in a scam where she was told she would receive a discount on her Cable TV bill if she purchased $2,000.00 worth of money cards. The Victim did that and provided the card numbers to the caller who later attempted to fraudulently obtain another $13,000.00 from the Victim but was unsuccessful when the Victim’s bank expressed concern about the withdrawal.

Vehicle Accident, Deer Struck – On Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 at 6:49 p.m., this crash occurred on SR 72, south of Spring Hill Ln. A 24 year old Trenton, NJ man was traveling south and struck a deer that ran into the roadway, causing the deer to become airborne and land in the northbound lane of travel where it was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by a 51 year old Lititz woman. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Both vehicles sustained damage but were driven from the scene. The deer was deceased.

East Hanover Township

Theft Of Motor Vehicle – On Oct. 31, 2020 between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., PSP responded to Harrison School Rd. for a report of a theft. Through investigation, it was determined that a tenant of the Victim’s property sold a backhoe belonging to the Victim without the Victim’s permission. The Victim was a 65 year old Wantagh, NY man. The stolen property included a Rusted Yellow Catepillar Backhoe, valued at $5,000.00. Investigation is ongoing.

Mt. Gretna Borough

Scam – An elderly Mount Gretna Boro. man reported on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 that he lost $8,000.00 through an internet scam on Nov. 3, 2020. The Victim reported that, while he was using his computer, a message popped up indicating the computer had been hacked and his American Express credit card was compromised with two fraudulent charges. To assist in the investigation, the Victim was instructed to purchase $8,000.00 in Target and Nike gift cards and provide the card numbers to a caller who claimed to be with American Express.

Myerstown Borough

Runaway – On Nov. 10, 2020 at 12:23 a.m., this incident occurred on North Railroad St. as the Victim/Suspect, a 13 year old W/N-M, left his residence at approximately 12:22 a.m. on Nov. 10, 2020 after a verbal argument with his aunt over going to bed. The Victim/Suspect is described as a W/N-M, 5′ 7″ tall, blond hair, and blue eyes, last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, brown shorts, and black sneakers.

North Londonderry Township

Criminal Activity – North Londonderry Twp. police department filed a non-traffic citation against a 68 year old Palmyra woman for her involvement in an incident which took place on Nov. 7, 2020 at 4:08 p.m. Gerard blocked access on a public sidewalk by holding up a shovel and pointing it at the Victim as he and his wife were walking on the sidewalk. The Victim was a 47 year old Palmyra resident.

Retail Theft, Driving Without A License – North Londonderry Twp. police department filed charges against a 21 year old Palmyra man for his involvement in an incident which took place at Walmart, located at 100 North Londonderry Sq., on Nov. 3, 2020 at 11:45 a.m. Van Why-Espinoza was charged with one count of Retail Theft as he took five items, valued at $91.47 without paying for them. Van Why-Espinoza was also charged with Driving Without a License as the investigation revealed he currently does not possess a valid driver’s license.

Vehicle Accident – Police responded to the intersection of Elm St. and Green St. for a two-vehicle accident on Nov. 8, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. a 64 year old Palmyra woman was traveling west on Elm St. when her vehicle was struck by an 80 year old Palmyra man as he entered the intersection. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Both vehicles were driven from the scene. The man was cited for a Stop Sign Violation.

South Lebanon Township

DUI – On Oct. 18, 2020 at 1:18 a.m., a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown on East Cumberland St. and Prescott Rd. found the Operator to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges for this incident are pending forensic blood analysis results. The Arrestee was a 32 year old Womelsdorf man. The vehicle involved was a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado.

West Cornwall Township

Vehicle Accident – On Monday, Nov. 9, 2020 at 6:39 a.m., this crash occurred on SR 72, just south of SR 419. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 73 year old Lebanon man, and Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 19 year old Lebanon woman, were involved in this crash. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Unit 2 required towing.

Vehicle Accident – A 16 year old North Cornwall Twp. female reported that on Monday, Nov. 9, 2020 at approximately 2:10 p.m. she was involved in a chain reaction crash on SR 72, north of SR 419. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Information of the other drivers involved was not available.

Vehicle Accident – On Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020 at 1:38 p.m., this crash occurred on SR 117 at Boulevard Ave. Operator 1, a 73 year old Mt. Joy man, lost control of his 1975 BMW motorcycle due to a possible mechanical failure. He was transported to Hershey Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident.

Vehicle Accident, Deer Struck – A motorist struck a deer on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020 at approximately 5:25 p.m. on SR 72 near Williams Dr. and left the scene prior to the arrival of police. The deer was deceased.

Vehicle Accident, Deer Struck – Operator 1, a 40 year old Lebanon man, struck a deer on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020 at 6:20 p.m. as he was traveling south on SR 72 near Williams Dr. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. The vehicle sustained moderate damage but was driven from the scene. The deer fled after the collision.
