City of Lebanon

Drug Possession – On Nov. 13, 2020 at 10:32 p.m., at Maple St., a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown found the Operator to be under the influence of marijuana. Additionally, a search of the vehicle yielded the seizure of marijuana, THC oil, and additional drug paraphernalia. Charges for this incident are pending forensic blood analysis results. The vehicles involved were a 1995 Geo Prizm.

Cornwall Borough

Access Device Fraud – Heather Martin, a 35 year old Palmyra resident, has been charged with two counts of Access Device Fraud for incidents between Mar. 5, 2020 and Mar. 12, 2020 while she was working as a server at a restaurant on the 2,300 block of Cornwall Rd. Two patrons forgot to take their credit cards when they left the restaurant. Martin took the cards and used them to make three purchases, totaling $99.00.

DUI, Careless Driving, Disregarding A Traffic Lane – Margaret Holmes, a 53 year old Stevens resident, has been charged with Driving Under the Influence for an incident on Oct. 16, 2020 at 10:05 p.m. on SR 322, east of SR 72. She is also charged with Careless Driving and Disregarding a Traffic Lane.

Scam – A Cornwall woman reported on Nov. 12, 2020 that she lost $4,700.00 earlier that day when she wire transferred the money to Florida believing that her grandson had been arrested and needed the money.

East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 16, 2020 at 2:23 a.m., this collision occurred as Unit 2, a 2007 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Operator 2, an 18 year old Mt. Union woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, an 18 year old Cheraw, SC woman, was traveling on I 81 Southbound when Operator 2 pulled Unit 2 onto the shoulder due to a mechanical issue. Unit 1, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, was traveling south on I 81 in the right lane when its trailer sideswiped Unit 2 while passing by it. Unit 1 fled the scene, continuing to travel south on I 81. It is unknown whether Operator 1 sustained injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 2 and Passenger 1 reported no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic. Drug Possession – On Nov. 12, 2020 at 12:03 p.m., on the 800 block of I 81 South, a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown yielded the seizure of marijuana and suspected drug items. Charges for this incident have been filed through Magisterial District Court 52-3-04. The Arrestee was a 30 year old Allentown woman. The vehicles involved included a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 15, 2020 at 3:42 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2019 Chrysler 300, driven by Operator 1, was traveling northbound on I 81 near mile marker 83.1 in East Hanover Twp. Unit 1 was traveling in the righthand lane. Unit 1’s tires lost control with the wet road surface, causing Operator 1 to lose control of Unit 1. Unit 1 then veered off the roadway via the south shoulder and into an uneven, grassy area where it sustained damage to the rear bumper. Unit 1’s rear bumper was dislodged from Unit 1. Operator 1 was wearing a seatbelt at the time and reported no injuries as a result of this crash. No airbags were deployed. Unit 1 was driven from the scene by Operator 1. Operator 1 was issued an Application to Receive a Copy of the Crash Report (SP 7-20015TX) on scene.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 17, 2020 at 6:08 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2011 General Motors Corp Sierra, driven by Operator 1, a 17 year old Denver male, was traveling westbound on East Main St. in Heidelberg Twp. Unit 1 exited the left side of the roadway, striking two utility poles before coming to final rest in the front yard of a residence on the 1,700 block of Heidelberg Ave. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Zimmy’s. Operator 1 did not suffer any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Lebanon County Fire Companies.

Jackson Township

Attempted Robbery – On Nov. 13, 2020 at approximately 11:00 p.m., a juvenile, a 17 year old Jackson Twp. resident, was Victim to an attempted robbery in the area of Railroad St., near the Bahney House in Myerstown Boro. The Victim was assaulted by two Suspects wearing all black outfits. Anyone with any information is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.

Criminal Trespass – On Nov. 14, 2020 at 10:02 p.m., this crime occurred on Tulpehocken Rd. In the commission of this crime, the Accused did trespass with his vehicle onto the property of the Victim, despite the property being posted with No Trespassing signs. The Accused proceeded to park and leave his vehicle on the property of the Victim for an extended period of time while visiting a nearby acquaintance. Charges against the Accused have been filed in Magisterial District Court 52-3-01. The Accused was a 19 year old Annville man. The Victim was Limestone Springs Preserve in Richland. The vehicles involved included a 1990 Ford F150XLT (has third door on passenger’s side).

Jonestown Borough

Harassment – On Nov. 18, 2020 at 5:10 p.m., troopers of PSP Jonestown station were dispatched to West Market St. for a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival on scene, it was determined that the Accused pushed the Victim into a closet door after a verbal altercation. The Accused was cited via Non-Traffic Citation. The Arrestee was a 35 year old Jonestown man. The Victim was a 30 year old Jonestown woman.

Myerstown Borough

Drug Possession – On Nov. 1, 2020 at 1:44 a.m., a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown on the 100 block of West Lincoln Ave. yielded the seizure of suspected cocaine and additional drug paraphernalia. Charges for this incident are pending forensic drug analysis results. The vehicles involved were a 2010 Toyota Corolla.

North Annville Township

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 15, 2020 at 5:57 a.m., this crash occurred on Clear Spring Rd. with its intersection at Shanamantown Rd. in North Annville Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2004 Volkswagen Golf, driven by Operator 1, an 18 year old Jonestown man, was stopped at a stop sign located on Shanamantown Rd. Unit 1 proceeded through the stop sign as Unit 2, a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Operator 2, a 62 year old Annville man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 16 year old Hummelstown male, was approaching this location, north on Clear Spring Rd. Unit 1 was subsequently struck by Unit 2. Operator 1, Operator 2, and Passenger 1 reported no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 2 was towed by Zimmey’s Automotive. Unit 1 was left at the scene per Operator 1’s request. Operator 1 was cited for Stop Signs and Yield Signs.

North Lebanon Township

Drug Possession – Michael Kohr, a 21 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance after an incident that occurred on Nov. 11, 2020 in the 900 block of Poplar Ln. in Lebanon.

Endangering The Welfare Of Children, DUI, Public Drunkenness – Megan Peiffer, a 29 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Driving Under the Influence, and Public Drunkenness after an incident that occurred on Oct. 31, 2020 on the Lebanon Wal-Mart lot.

Possession Of A Designer Drug, DUI, Traffic Violations – Michael Fernandez, a 29 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Possession of a Designer Drug, Driving Under the Influence, and Traffic Violations after a vehicle accident that occurred in the 1,500 block of North 7th St. on May 22, 2020.

Retail Theft, Drug Possession – Antoinette Auman, a 26 year old Myerstown resident, was charged with Retail Theft and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after an incident that occurred on Nov. 1, 2020 at the Lebanon Wal-Mart after failing to pay for $298 worth of merchandise.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 14, 2020 at 11:19 a.m., the North Londonderry Twp. police department investigated a vehicle accident that occurred on Wal-Mart traffic-way in which Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 77 year old Annville woman, struck Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 33 year old Lebanon man. There were no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 2 was towed.

Drug Possession, Disorderly Conduct – On Nov. 15, 2020 at 6:53 p.m., this crime occurred on the 1,200 block of East Main St. In the course of conducting the traffic stop, a 24 year old Jonestown man, was found to have in his possession a small amount of marijuana. He was cited with Disorderly Conduct. The citation was filed through DJ Garver’s Office.

South Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 20, 2020 at 7:28 p.m., a two-vehicle accident occurred at Horseshoe Pike and South Forge Rd. in Palmyra. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 57 year old Lebanon woman, was traveling east on Horseshoe Pike through a red traffic light while Operator 2, a 34 year old Hummelstown man, traveled south on South Forge Rd. through a green traffic light. Operator 1 struck Operator 2 on the passenger’s side of the vehicle. Unit 2 traveled into a cornfield and came to final rest. No injuries were reported on scene. Operator 1 was cited for Traffic Control Signal.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 25, 2020 at 5:11 p.m., a Buick sedan driven by an unnamed 17 year old juvenile male struck a curb while turning into the Northside Commons parking lot. The impact caused the front axle to break. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Zimmey’s Automotive towed the vehicle from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 29, 2020 at 6:45 p.m., Unit 1, a Honda sedan, driven by Operator 1, a 53 year old Palmyra woman, pulled out from a parked position into the path of Unit 2, a Volkswagen coupe, driven by Operator 2. The crash occurred in front of the 00 block of Lynmar Ave. in Palmyra. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Vehicle Accident, DUI – On Oct. 21, 2020 at approximately 3:27 p.m., this one-vehicle accident occurred on the 300 block of Lawn Rd. The vehicle was traveling south on Lawn Rd. and took the turn too fast and lost control and went off the roadway and then the vehicle turned on its side, resting on the roadway. Operator 1, Zachary Krizan, a 30 year old Hummelstown resident, was arrested for suspicion of DUI. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speeds and Roadways Laned for Traffic. Zimmey’s Automotive towed the vehicle away from the scene. South Londonderry Twp. police were assisted on scene by Lawn EMS and Lawn Fire Department.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 28, 2020 at 12:45 p.m., this one-vehicle accident occurred on the 600 block of Mt. Gretna Rd. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 28 year old Sickerville, NJ man, passed another and lost control on the wet roadway while traveling south on Mt. Gretna Rd. and struck a utility pole. Zimmey’s Automotive towed the vehicle away from the scene. South Londonderry Twp. police were assisted on scene by Lawn Fire Company. Operator 1 was cited for Driving a Vehicle at Safe Speeds.

DUI – On Oct. 26, 2020 at 3:30 p.m., South Londonderry police made contact with Joshua Alexander, a 47 year old Fleetwood resident, while he was operating a motor vehicle on Northside Dr. and South Forge Rd. During this encounter, Alexander was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Test results showed that Alexander had a 0.139% BAC at the time of the encounter.

Criminal Trespass – On Nov. 9, 2020 at 3:59 p.m., the South Londonderry police were called to the 300 block of Chestnut Hill Rd. for a report of a trespasser on private property. Upon police arrival, police made contact with a 75 year old Palmyra man. The man had walked past posted signs for the property. He was charged with Criminal Trespass.

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 15, 2020 at 12:26 p.m., this two-vehicle accident occurred on the 2,400 block of Horseshoe Pike. This crash occurred when a 52 year old Palmyra woman was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by a 33 year old Palmyra man. There were no injuries as a result of this crash. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The man was cited for Following Too Closely.

Swatara Township

Drug Possession – On Nov. 7, 2020 at 12:44 a.m., this crime occurred on SR 72 North and East Church St. In the commission of this crime, the Arrestee was in possession of a controlled substance. The Arrestee was a 26 year old Palmyra man. The vehicles involved included a 2017 Volkswagen GTI.

Union Township

Theft – On Nov. 16, 2020 at 7:43 a.m., this crime occurred as two unknown W/N/M Suspects arrived at KOA Campground in Jonestown in a black or dark blue Honda Sedan. The Suspects entered the store through the main entrance and walked around the store briefly. One suspect was described as approximately 5’4″ in height, blonde/red thin beard, and short blonde/red hair and took a donation canteen off of the register. The Suspects returned to their vehicle and fled east on Lickdale Rd. toward Fredericksburg. Anyone with any information is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 15, 2020 at approximately 6:51 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to a reported crash on Suedberg Rd., near Goldmine Rd. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2012 Ford Focus, driven by Operator 1, an 18 year old Pine Grove woman, was traveling north on Suedberg Rd. when a tree fell onto the lane of travel. Unit 1 subsequently struck the tree, causing damage to the undercarriage of the vehicle. No injuries were reported on scene as a result of this crash.

West Cornwall Township

Dogs Running At Large – A 32 year old Lebanon man has been charged for permitting his dog to run at large on Wednesday at 10:37 a.m. in the Quentin Hunt development.

West Lebanon Township

Drug Possession, Retail Theft – Kira Harris, a 30 year old Annville resident, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Retail Theft after an incident that occurred on Nov. 10, 2020. She was apprehended after failing to pay for $144 worth of merchandise from Boscov’s in Lebanon Valley mall.

DUI, Traffic Violations – Michael Demascoli, a 32 year old Annville resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Controlled Substances and Traffic Violations after an incident that occurred in the 1,600 block of West Cumberland St. on May 26, 2020.
