Disorderly Conduct, Traffic Violations – A 56 year old Cornwall woman has been cited for Disorderly Conduct and several traffic violations after an incident on Dec. 28, 2020 at 10:44 a.m. at 5th St. and Cumberland St.
Drug Possession, Public Drunkenness – A 51 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Public Drunkenness on Jan. 1, 2021 at 12:03 a.m. at South 9th St. and Oak St.
Disorderly Conduct With A Motor Vehicle – A 28 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct with a Motor Vehicle on Jan. 1, 2021 at 12:26 a.m. on the 300 block of Prune St.
Harassment – A 50 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Harassment after an incident on Dec. 20, 2020 at 9:56 p.m. on the 400 block of Chestnut St.
Public Drunkenness – A 50 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on Jan. 23, 2020 at 12:47 p.m. on the 100 block of North 8th Ave.
Harassment, Public Drunkenness, Disorderly Conduct – A 31 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Harassment, Public Drunkenness, and Disorderly Conduct, on Jan. 8, 2021 at 12:10 a.m. on the 1,100 block of Willow St.
Drug Possession – A charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia has been filed against Joshua Roy-Morgan, a 25 year old Lebanon resident, after police assisted the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Department on Dec. 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. on the 800 block of Scull St. Roy was taken into custody by Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding Lebanon County Bench Warrant. Police allege Roy possessed drug paraphernalia at the time of the arrest.
Drug Possession, Criminal Conspiracy – Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Criminal Conspiracy to Possess a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Criminal Conspiracy to Possess Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Madison Warner, a 21 year old Lebanon resident, and Darrin Thompson, a 21 year old Lebanon resident, after contact with police on Dec. 24, 2020 at 2:02 a.m. on the 1,200 block of Shuey St.
DUI – On Jan. 6, 2021 at 10:42 p.m., on the 1,100 block of Chestnut St., a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown found the vehicle’s Operator to be under the influence of marijuana. Charges for this incident are pending forensic blood analysis results. The vehicles involved include a 2005 Infiniti G35.
Cornwall Borough
Simple Assault – Nathan Tracey, a 25 year old Cornwall resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence-related) for an incident on Dec. 24, 2020 at 1:00 a.m. at his residence involving a 37 year old woman. In addition to the assault charge, Tracey was incarcerated on a detainer from Lebanon County Probation/Parole.
East Hanover Township
Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 25, 2020 at 9:46 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Operator 1, a 25 year old Coplay woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 29 year old Bethlehem man, and Unit 2, a 2020 Volvo VNL860, driven by Operator 2, a 46 year old Philadelphia man, accompanied by Passenger 2, a 35 year old Lehighton man, were traveling north (east) on I 81 North, just west of the exit 85A off ramp in East Hanover Twp. Unit 1 was attempting to slow down for crashes that occurred ahead of them. Operator 1, when attempting to slow down, lost control of Unit 1 due to the snow-covered highway. Unit 1 began sliding on the snow in circles. Unit 1 drifted into the left lane of travel colliding with Unit 2. Unit 2 was traveling behind Unit 1, when Unit 1 began sliding out of control. Unit 2 attempted to move to the left lane to avoid a collision but was unsuccessful. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was transported to the Hershey Medical Center as a precaution due to being pregnant. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.
Heidelberg Township
Fatal Accident – On Jan. 9, 2021 at approximately 8:20 a.m., this crash occurred on South 5th Ave. (SR 897) near its intersection with Duquesne Dr. in Heidelberg Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1 was traveling south on South 5th Ave. (SR 897) in Heidelberg Twp. Unit 1 attempted to pass a motor vehicle directly in front of it and entered the northbound lane. Unit 1 struck an oncoming Unit 2 head-on. Operator 1 (the sole occupant of Unit 1) was pronounced deceased on scene by the Lebanon County Coroner’s Office. Operator 2 and the Passenger of Unit 2 were transported to the Hershey Medical Center for injuries of unknown severity. This portion of SR 897 was closed until 12:15 p.m. Unit 1 and Unit 2 were towed from the scene by Gilles Miller Towing. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Schaefferstown Fire and EMS. No names are being released as the investigation is still ongoing.
Vehicle Accident – On Jan. 7, 2021 at 9:12 p.m., this two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of SR 501 and Sinclair Rd. in Heidelberg Twp. This crash occurred when Unit 1, a 2015 Toyota Corolla, driven by Operator 1, a 41 year old Lititz woman, was traveling west on Sinclair Rd. when it came to a stop at the stop sign that intersects with SR 501. Unit 1 began attempting to make a left turn to head south on SR 501 without properly clearing the roadway when it was struck by Unit 2, a 2017 Freightliner Cascadia, driven by Operator 2, a 52 year old Lancaster man. Unit 2 was traveling south on SR 501 when the middle of its trailer was struck by Unit 1. Neither Operator 1 nor Operator 2 reported any injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 sustained disabling front end damage. Unit 2 sustained minor damage to its trailer (tanker). Unit 2 was driven away from the scene and Unit 1 was towed from the scene by a personal towing company. Operator 1 was cited for Stop Signs and Yield Signs. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Schaefferstown Fire Department Station 35.
Jonestown Borough
Vehicle Accident – On Jan. 6, 2021 at approximately 6:35 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to a reported hit-and-run crash in the area of North Lancaster St. and Rose Ln. This crash occurred as both Unit 1, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, and Unit 2, a 2014 Dodge Caravan, driven by Operator 2, a 35 year old Jonestown woman, were traveling north on North Lancaster St. Unit 2 was stopped on the lane of travel for a left turn and was rear-ended by Unit 1. Unit 1 then fled the scene without providing information. Any individual with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.
Theft – On Jan. 7, 2021 at 2:00 a.m., this incident occurred on the 100 block of South Lancaster St. This incident occurred as an unknown Actor(s) removed two signs from the Victim’s front lawn and fled the scene. North Lebanon Township
Drug Possession – A 49 year old Lebanon man was charged with Possession of Marijuana as a result of an incident at his residence on Dec. 24, 2020 at his residence.
DUI – Christopher Tracey, a 22 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence and traffic violations after being involved in a traffic accident on Nov. 23, 2020 in the 900 block of Miller St.
South Londonderry Township
Leaving The Scene Of An Accident, Following Too Closely – On Dec. 21, 2020 at 4:55 p.m., this incident occurred on Horseshoe Pike and Hinkle Rd. Operator 1, Shamika Gillette, a 28 year old Lebanon resident, is charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Following Too Closely when she struck the Victim’s vehicle from behind, while the Victim was stopped in traffic.
Disorderly Conduct, Overtaking Vehicle On The Left, Careless Driving – On Dec. 12, 2020 at 2:13 p.m., this incident occurred on the 2,800 block of Horseshoe Pike. Operator 1, a 30 year old Annville man, did create a hazardous condition by cutting off another vehicle that served no legitimate purpose, after passing the vehicle on the left side of the roadway. Operator 1 is charged with Disorderly Conduct, Overtaking Vehicle on the Left, and Careless Driving.
Drug Possession – On Oct. 13, 2020 at 8:16 p.m., two 20 year old Manheim women were charged with Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia following a suspicious vehicle call in the game lands lot on Mt. Wilson Rd.
Swatara Township
Theft – On Dec. 11, 2020 at 12:00 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to Mowery Rd. for a reported identity theft. Investigation revealed that the Victim’s information was used to purchase an Apple iPhone. The Victim was a 42 year old Jonestown man. PSP is investigating.
