Millcreek Township

Suicide Attempt – On Jan. 17, 2021 at approximately 5:15 p.m., PSP Jonestown was dispatched to the residence located on the 00 block of Cottage Ln. in Millcreek Twp. for a report of an unconscious female who was suspected to have overdosed. The Victim’s boyfriend contacted 911 after he discovered the Victim unconscious in the bathroom of the residence. It is believed the Victim attempted to commit suicide by ingesting an unknown amount of a prescribed pill substance(s). The Victim was transported to the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon City for treatment.

North Cornwall Township

Accident – On Jan. 8 at 11:33 p.m. at 100 Tuck Street, a 51 year old Lebanon man was attempting to back out of a stall and struck the side of a 55 year old Lebanon woman in the driver side front and rear doors. Damage was minor to both vehicles. No injuries reported, vehicles were driven.

Accident – On Jan. 10 at 6:07 p.m. at 700 E. Penn Ave. A 53 year old Texas man (truck owned by Lincolnshire Trucking, IL) was attempting to turn around. He entered the lot of Turkey Hill, then entered Beck’s Automotive lot. He did not see the wires for the light poles and while exiting, took the wires and bent the light poles. No injuries reported, no damage to the truck.

Accident – On Jan. 10 at 8:46 p.m., a vehicle, driven by Jonah Sweitzer, Lebanon man struck a parked car at the intersection of Chestnut Street and South 19th Street. He was traveling east on Chestnut Street when he veered to the right striking a legally parked vehicle (unoccupied). His vehicle had severe front-end damage; parked vehicle had moderate rear-end damage. No injuries reported.

Accident – On Jan. 11 at 12:24 p.m. on Cornwall Road at Rocherty Road – an 83 year old Lebanon woman suddenly made a right turn onto Rocherty and struck a 77 year old Cornwall woman. Vehicles were driven from the scene, Novosel complained of very minor pain in the side of her neck. She refused treatment by EMS; the 77 year old woman did not report any injuries.

Accident – On Jan. 12 at 3:59 p.m. on Cumberland at 16th Streets – A 42 year old Lebanon woman was traveling east on Cumberland Street in the turning lane. A 45 year old Lebanon woman pulled from the side lot and struck the other driver. Both vehicles were towed, and no injuries were reported.

Accident – On Jan. 14 at 1:02 p.m. on Quentin Road at Isabel Drive – A 33 year old Lebanon woman was attempting to turn left onto Quentin Road from Isabel Drive. As she was making her turn, she was struck by an 88 year old Lebanon man. The man was traveling north on Quentin Road. No injuries reported at the time of the accident. The woman’s vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. The man’s vehicle sustained minor damage and was able to be driven from the scene.

Accident – On Jan. 15 at 11:44 a.m. on Wilhelm Avenue at Cornwall Road, a 47 year old Marrieta man struck the rear of a 49 year old Lebanon woman as she was waiting in traffic at the stop sign. No injuries were observed/reported and both parties denied EMS. Both vehicles sustained very minor damage and were able to be driven from scene.

Accident – On Jan. 16 at 10:56 a.m. on Walnut at 20th Streets – a 28 year old Lebanon man was traveling south on 20th Street and ran the stop sign located at Walnut Street striking a 57 year old Lebanon woman who was traveling east on Walnut Street. No injuries reported or observed. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Accident – On Jan. 16 at 10:18 p.m. on Quentin Road at Zinns Mill Road – a 26 year old Lancaster man was traveling south on Quentin Road when a goat crossed the road in front of him. He stopped suddenly, causing the load to shift forward. The cargo had enough force to break through the front of the trailer. Cargo was transferred to another trailer and the man’s trailer was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – On Jan. 16, 2021 at 2:20 a.m., police responded to the area of the 800 block of North Forge Rd. for a vehicle accident with a rollover. Operator 1, Alexander Hoang, a 19 year old Lancaster resident, was traveling southbound on North Forge Rd. when he lost control initiating a curve. Unit 1 struck the embankment, causing Unit 1 to roll over onto its roof. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Unit 1 required towing by Zimmies. Operator 1 was cited for Safe Speeds.

South Londonderry Township

Drug Possession – On Oct. 31, 2020 at 11:49 p.m., the South Londonderry Twp. police department conducted a traffic stop on the 2,800 block of Horseshoe Pike, following an incident that was reported in the area. During the traffic stop, Operator 1, George Yagel, a 30 year old Lebanon resident, admitted to possessing marijuana. A small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located inside Unit 1. Operator 1 was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Vehicle Accident, Drug Possession – On Sept. 6, 2020 at approximately 8:12 p.m., the South Londonderry Twp. police department were dispatched for a report of a motor vehicle accident in the area of South Forge Rd. and Mt. Wilson Rd. Police arrived and located Unit 1, an unoccupied Toyota Prius. It was apparent that Operator 1 had left the scene. Unit 1 was seized and a controlled substance was later located in Unit 1, pursuant to an investigative interview with Eric Hammaker, a 50 year old Bainbridge resident. Operator 1 was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Immediate Notification of Accident.
