Bethel Township

Theft Of Motor Vehicle – This crime occurred as two blue 2013 Yamaha golf carts were stolen from the Blue Mountain Golf Course, located on the 600 block of Blue Mountain Rd., between Jan. 4, 2021 and Jan. 19, 2021. The unknown Actor(s) stole the golf carts by unknown means and fled in an unknown direction. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police Jonestown Barracks. The Victim was Blue Mountain Golf Course in Fredericksburg.

Theft – On Jan. 18, 2021 at approximately 6:56 p.m., the Victim walked into PSP Jonestown to report that he had received a phone call from an unknown individual who he only knew as “federal agent,” Chris Hasty, who was utilizing phone number 215-372-4770. The unknown individual told the Victim that a federal audit of the sexual offender registry was completed and he needed to send them money. The Victim related that the individual then indicated that he had to come up with $2,500 via a Green Dot MoneyPak card and take the cards to the police station or he would receive warrants for his arrest. The unknown individual then informed the Victim that he had to verify the amounts on the cards and then the Victim read off to him the numbers on the cards and the funds were then removed from the cards. The Victim was a 49 year old Fredericksburg man.

City of Lebanon

DUI – On Jan. 16, 2021 at 11:31 a.m., a traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle, Unit 1, on the 100 block of North 9th St. The investigation yielded that the operator of the vehicle, Operator 1, was driving under the influence and was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Charges are to be filed. The Arrestee was a 62 year old Jonestown woman. The vehicles involved included a 2014 Ford Focus.

Cornwall Borough

DUI, Careless Driving – Tina Gillichbauer, a 33 year old Marietta resident, has been charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Careless Driving for an incident that occurred on May 9, 2020 at 7:11 p.m. on SR 419 at Maple Ln.

Scam – The Victim, a Cornwall woman, reported losing $2,000.00 in a telephone scam on Jan. 15, 2021. The Victim stated she was called and told her iCloud account was hacked and she was to go to a local grocery store and purchase four Nike gift cards in the amount of $500.00 each. She then provided the card numbers to the caller.

East Hanover Township

Drug Possession – On Jan. 15, 2021 at 1:09 a.m., this crime occurred on I 81 South. In the commission of this crime, the Actors were in possession of a controlled substance. The Actors/Arrestees were a 26 year old Brooklyn, NY man and a 40 year old Union City, NJ man. The vehicles involved included a 2007 Ford Econoline E250.

Vehicle Accident – On Jan. 18, 2021 at approximately 4:41 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to a reported crash in the area of Allentown Blvd. (SR 22) and Indiantown Gap Rd. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2015 Honda Civic, driven by Operator 1, a 37 year old Fredericksburg woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 3 year old Fredericksburg female, was traveling east on SR 22 on the left lane when two deer ran upon the roadway. Unit 1 subsequently struck both deer. Unit 1 was driven from the scene and Operator 1 reported knee pain and a suspected minor injury but refused EMS transport. Passenger 1 was not injured as a result of this crash.

Theft Of Motor Vehicle – This crime occurred on the 600 block of Pine Rd. when unknown Actor(s) stole a Kubota tractor sometime between Jan. 7, 2021 at 12:00 a.m. and Jan. 13, 2021 at 7:00 a.m. The unknown Actor(s) stole the tractor by unknown means and fled in an unknown direction. The Victim was Swatara Creek Swine Co. in Palmyra. The stolen vehicles included a 2014 Orange Kubota Corp. Anyone with information is asked to contact the PSP Jonestown station at 717-865-2194.

Theft – On Jan. 21, 2021 at 2:40 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to Mill Rd. for a report of a theft. It was determined that fraudulent purchases were made using the Victim’s bank account. The Victim was a 70 year old Annville woman. Investigation is ongoing.

Jackson Township

Alcohol Purchase / Furnish – On Dec. 31, 2020 sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m., this incident occurred on Northgate Ave. as it was alleged that a juvenile consumed an alcoholic beverage that was provided by an adult.

Drug Possession – On Jan. 18, 2021 at 11:41 p.m., this crime occurred on East Cumberland St. and West Lincoln Ave. In the commission of this crime, the Actor was in control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance which rendered him incapable of safe driving. He was also in possession of a controlled substance. The Arrestee was a 39 year old Lebanon man. The vehicles involved included a 2000 Mercury Automobiles Cougar.

Myerstown Borough

Found Property – On Jan. 19, 2021 at approximately 7:33 p.m., the Pennsylvania State Police located an abandoned bicycle at the Myerstown Boro. Park, located on South College St. and West Center Ave. in Myerstown Boro. The bicycle was reported as abandoned by a third party. The bicycle is a blue Huffy Echo Valley mountain bike with light-up devices in both the front and rear spokes, valued at $50.00. The bicycle is currently in custody at PSP Jonestown. Vehicle Accident – On Jan. 17, 2021 at 11:58 p.m., this crash occurred on SR 501 at its intersection with West Main Ave. in Myerstown Boro. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2014 Volkswagen Passat, driven by Operator 1, a 17 year old Myerstown male, was traveling south on SR 501 approaching its intersection with West Main Ave. Unit 1 ran the red light at the intersection and struck Unit 2, a 2019 Chevrolet Blazer, driven by Operator 2, a 46 year old Myerstown woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 48 year old Myerstown man, on the driver’s side, which was traveling east. Both Unit 1 and Unit 2 came to final rest in the middle of the intersection. Both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were towed from the scene by CJ Wagner’s Towing. Operator 2 sustained minor injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 reported no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Obedience to Traffic-Control Devices.

North Lebanon Township

DUI – Kelly Brenner, a 52 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence after striking a utility pole in the 600 block of East Maple St. on Dec. 20, 2020.

Drug Possession – Antonio Rodriguez, a 20 year old Lebanon resident, and Roberto Castillo-Torres, a 21 year old Lebanon resident, were charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after an incident that occurred in the 1,600 block of Grace Ave.

DUI – Tony Ceresini, a 28 year old Jonestown resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence after an incident that occurred in the 1,300 block of Sandhill Rd. on Dec. 20, 2020.

Endangering The Welfare Of Children, Simple Assault – Nicholas Cintron, a 22 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Endangering the Welfare of Children and two counts of Simple Assault after an incident that occurred in the 600 block of Elizabeth on Jan. 16, 2021.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – On Jan. 19, 2021 at 3:08 p.m., this crash occurred on South Lingle Ave. at Wheatstone Dr. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 38 year old Lebanon man, struck the rear of Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 38 year old Palmyra woman, Unit 2 was stopped on South Lingle Ave. waiting to make a left turn onto Wheatstone Dr. Operator 1 looked away from the roadway and was unable to avoid striking Unit 2. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene. Operator 1 was cited for Careless Driving.

Swatara Township

Drug Possession – On Jan. 19, 2021 at 11:22 a.m., on the 20 block of I 78 West, a traffic stop completed by members of PSP Jonestown found Operator 1 to be under the influence of controlled substances. A search of Unit 1, a 2005 Ford Taurus Taurus X, yielded the seizure of additional drug paraphernalia. Charges for this incident are pending forensic blood analysis results.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident – On Jan. 19, 2021 at 3:07 p.m., this reportable crash occurred as Unit 1 (a pedestrian), Operator 1, a 62 year old Jonestown man, was walking eastbound across SR 72 at its intersection with Jonestown Rd. and Unit 2, a 2008 Nissan Altima, driven by Operator 2, a 24 year old Lebanon man, was turning left onto SR 72 off of Jonestown Rd. in Union Twp. Unit 1 was attempting to cross SR 72 in a crosswalk as the upward flashing hand pedestrian signal was blinking. Unit 2 was turning left onto SR 72 off of Jonestown Rd. with a solid green traffic signal. Unit 1 attempted to hurry across the roadway as Unit 2 was turning and was struck by Unit 2. Initial impact occurred as the front right bumper of Unit 2 hit Unit 1. Unit 1 came to final rest laying on the east shoulder of SR 72 and Unit 2 came to final rest facing south of SR 72. Unit 1 was transported from the scene by Life Lion EMS to the Hershey Medical Center with a head and face injury. Unit 2 was driven from the scene and Operator 2 reported no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Right-of-Way of Pedestrians in Crosswalks. Operator 2 was cited for Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked.

PFA Violation – Between Jan. 19, 2021 at 11:08 a.m. and Jan. 21, 2021 at 6:02 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to SR 72 for a report of a Protection From Abuse investigation. It was determined that the Arrestee sent numerous text messages to the Victim after being served the Protection From Abuse order. The Arrestee was a 25 year old Jonestown man. The Victim was a 23 year old Pine Grove woman. Charges were filed.

West Cornwall Township

Underage Drinking – A 20 year old Manheim man was cited for an incident that occurred on Jan. 9, 2021 at 9:10 p.m. at the Governor Dick Park, located at 3283 Pinch Rd.

Drug Possession – William Logan, an 18 year old Manheim resident, has been charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession With Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia for an incident that occurred on Jan. 9, 2021 at 9:10 p.m. at the Governor Dick Park, located at 3283 Pinch Rd.

Vehicle Accident – On Jan. 12, 2021 at 12:15 p.m., this crash occurred on Main St. in Quentin. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 23 year old Hershey woman, collided with Unit 2, a West Cornwall Twp. Highway Department vehicle, driven by Operator 2, a 59 year old Quentin man. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed.

West Lebanon Township

Retail Theft – Darian Francavage, a 24 year old Reading resident, was charged with Retail Theft after an incident that occurred on Jan. 4, 2021 at the Boscov’s in the Lebanon Valley Mall, after failing to pay for $74 worth of merchandise.
