The Lebanon County Career and Technology Center will hold an open house on Thursday, Nov. 11.

“This event is designed to explore all the possibilities of a career in the trades and the skills required,” said director Glenn Meck in a release.

“The Open House is our way of introducing the facility and faculty to high school students and adults looking for a change who are interested in an affordable pathway towards high demand, high skill and high wage careers,” said Meck.

Instructors and current students will be available to answer questions, including what Meck said is the most common – “Will I get an excellent job in the trade I want?” The CTC director said that a technical education is directly applicable to employer needs.

Open house visitors will also be treated to starters from the Hilltop Café, the CTC’s culinary student-run cafe.
