Lebanon-based Jubilee Ministries has purchased a 103-acre farm property in North Lebanon Township, but plans for the site are unknown at this time.

The property purchase was included in the most recent batch of local real estate transfers published by LebTown. Jubilee Ministries purchased the property, 420 E. Kercher Ave., from Orchard View Farm LLC for $2 million.

Contacted by email, Jubilee Ministries CEO Ryan Newswanger said the nonprofit does not wish to make a formal announcement at this time regarding planned use for the property.

“There will be a time when we are ready to and we will certainly reach out at that point,” he said.

Jubilee Ministries operates several ministries focused around helping incarcerated individuals rebuild, restore, and renew their lives, and relies on funding from its well-known thrift store business, which is now up to six brick-and-mortar locations across the region, in addition to an online store.

The most recently available Form 990 for the organization indicates annual revenue of about $5 million in 2020.
