The Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 18th Annual Patriot Day Concert.

This event honors the first responders in our community and the past and current members of the Armed Forces from our area. Featuring the Lebanon Community Concert Band with performances by vocalists Jessica Weidman and Lebanon Police Sgt. Steve Bord. Caroylyn Peiffer Erdman will be leading a sing-a-long, with a special performance by the Maennerchor Choir. Cornwall Girl Scouts from Troop 70338, under the leadership of Lynne Lowe, will provide a short presentation about their experiences visiting all three sites impacted by the events of 9/11.

The Patriot Day Concert, which was first organized and hosted by the Chamber one year following the 9-11 attacks, has been held on September 11th each year since then. Featuring an array of patriotic songs performed by The Lebanon Community Concert Band and guest performers, our Patriot Day Concert traditionally attracts a capacity audience of 1,000 people. The audience includes members of the police and fire departments and EMS units from throughout Lebanon County, along with current and many past members of the Armed Forces and their families. The 2019 Concert provides our community and many of its residents with the opportunity to pay tribute to those who serve as first responders and those who serve or served in America’s military. The Concert is free and open to the public, but each attendee should have a ticket.
