For 18 years, the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce has hosted a Patriot Day Concert featuring the Lebanon Community Concert Band.

This annual concert commemorates the events of September 11, 2001, the patriotism of our great community, and the difficult and unselfish work of our first responders in 2001 and still today. This year we are unable to gather for a live concert so we are broadcasting a ‘best of’ music recorded during previous 9/11 concerts.

This compilation of music is sure to get your feet tapping as the Lebanon Community Concert Band, under the direction of Timothy Erdman, delivers a selection of patriotic music, ballads sung by Jessica Weidman and Sergeant Steve Bord, and a banjo performance by ‘Banjo Bob’ Balthaser along with accordionist Carolyne Peiffer Erdman.

We invite the public to join us by listening on Sept. 11 from 3:00 -4:15 p.m. on WiLBuR 1270 or stream in stereo online at https://foreverlebanonvalley.com.

A video including the program recording and photos from past concerts will be available online after Sept. 11.

The Lebanon Valley Chamber is grateful for the opportunity to bring the concert to your homes through the support of our sponsors: Met-Ed, A FirstEnergy Company, WellSpan Health, Cornwall Manor, City of Lebanon, Buzgon Davis Law Offices, and Hershey-Palmyra Sertoma.

We’ll miss seeing our regular concert-goers but look forward to gathering safely next year.
