WellSpan is now offering a Travel Clinic in Lebanon, which can help prepare residents for global travel with the appropriate immunizations.

The clinic is a service provided through WellSpan Occupational Health at 912 Russell Drive, Lebanon.

“If you and your family are going overseas for pleasure, for work or for a mission trip, you may need certain vaccinations to maintain your personal health and well-being,” said Diane Harlow, manager of employer-based wellness services for WellSpan Health.

A health care provider at the clinic can offer personalized care, targeting immunizations for the area the patient will be visiting and vaccinating against diseases such as typhoid, yellow fever or cholera.

The provider also can provide any prescriptions that might be needed during travel as well as offer safety tips on drinking water, diet and the use of insect repellent in areas where mosquito-borne illnesses are prevalent.

Travel Clinic services are available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. The office can be reached at 717-270-2336.
