A vehicle collision on Route 422 this morning briefly shut down the road while rescue crews moved the vehicles and removed an individual who had been pinned into one of the cars by the force of the impact.

According to Reading Eagle reporter and photo-journalist Jeremy Long, who was driving by the scene at the time and shared pictures with LebTown, the individual trapped in the car was freed successfully and seen to be “alert and talking.”

The crash appears to have been reported around 8:00am this morning. See live traffic data for the area at Sigalert.

A message has been left with the Annville Police Department. This post will be updated with more details when available.
