Over the last nine months, the Lebanon VA Medical Center has been one of four sites nationally testing a new enrollment portal.

Other pilot sites include the VA Northern California Health Care System, the James H. Quillen VA Healthcare System at Mountain Home, Tennessee, and St. Cloud VA Health Care System, Minnesota.

According to a release, the Lebanon VAMC “led the field of pilots sites in completing new enrollments over a nine-month period through January 2019.”

The new system was designed to make it easier for VA enrollment specialists to enter new patients, as well as reducing registration time and improving communications between different VA sites.

The Lebanon VA also oversees community clinics in Lancaster, Mechanicsburg, Pottsville, Wyommissing, York, and Fort Indiantown Gap. Enrollment specialists can be reached Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 4pm, at (717) 228-6000.
