City of Lebanon

Charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Resisting Arrest and Reckless Driving have been filed against Jeffrey Zombro Sr. a 56 year old Lebanon resident after single vehicle accident on 11-01-19 at 2138 hours at 1202 maple Street. No one was injured as a result of the accident. Police allege Zombro’s BAC at the time of the accident was .222%.

Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Park Rules and Regulations (city ordinance) have been filed against Joshua Aponte-Morales a 21 year old Lebanon resident and Xavier Morales a 20 year old Lebanon resident after being found at Stoever’s Park after the park closed on 11-11-19 at 2221 hours on the 700 block of N. Hanover Street.

Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Park Rules and Regulations (city ordinance) have been filed against Ryan Beamer an 18 year old Schaefferstown resident after being found in the Optimist Park on 11-11-19 at 2054 hours at 13th and Washington Streets.

Two counts of Theft have been filed against Luis Rivera-Rivera a 33 year old Lebanon resident after investigation into a theft of two cell phones from Rivera’s former employer’s lunch room. Rivera is accused taking the cell phones from the belongings of the owners without their permission. Total loss combining the cell phone value is $1200.

Charges of Simple Assault, Harassment and Disorderly Conduct have been filed against Zhong Qin Zheng a 41 year old Lebanon resident after investigation into an assault that occurred on 11-20-19 at 1854 hours on the 900 block of Cumberland Street. Zheng is accused of punching the 63 year old causing minor injury to her face.

Charges of Driving Under the Influence of a Combination of Alcohol and Drugs, Registration and Certificate of Title Required, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Ronald Zechman a 36 year old Lebanon resident after a minor traffic accident on 11-02-19 at 2242 hours on the 500 block of Guilford Street. Zechman is accused of having a BAC containing alcohol and THC (marijuana).

Charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Traffic Control Signals have been files against Sofia Romero-Aguirre a 35 year old North Cornwall resident after a traffic stop on 11-09-19 at 0209 hours at 12th and Cumberland Streets. Police allege Romero had a BAC of .151% at the time of the traffic stop.

Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Registration and Certificate of Title Required and Drivers Required to be Licensed have been filed against Cynthia Sanchez-Lebron a 35 year old Reading resident. Charges were filed after a traffic stop on 10-28-19 at 1645 hours on the 700 block of Willow Street.

Jackson Township

On Dec. 10 at 3:30 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on SR 422 east at W. Lincoln Ave. and S. Ramona Rd. for traffic violations. Through investigation it was discovered the driver, Luis Pena Santos, a 31-year-old Reading male, was DUI suspended. This is the operator’s third offense for driving while he suspended making it misdemeanor charges. Charges were filed for driving while suspended.

North Cornwall Township

Friday, December 13, 2019 @ 0313 hours – Craig Scipioni, 45, Lebanon was charged with Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving Unregistered Vehicle and Operating Vehicle without Required Financial Responsibility after he was stopped for a traffic violation in the 2200 block of West Cumberland Street.

Wednesday, December 11, 2019 @1353 hours – Accident – 1860 Quentin Road, (Jo-Ann Parking lot). A 64-year-old Lebanon woman struck a legally parked vehicle while parked on a parking lot. No injuries reported, vehicles had light damage.

Tuesday, December 10, 2019 @ 0537 hours – Accident – 1800 block of Chestnut Street. A 33-year-old Lebanon man was driving east on Chestnut Street, fell asleep, struck a parked car, owned by a Lebanon man which was pushed into another parked vehicle owned by a Lebanon woman. All vehicles were towed and the Lebanon man refused medical treatment.

Tuesday, December 10, 2019 @ 1648 hours – Accident – Rocherty Road at Village Drive. A 25-year-old Middletown man rear ended a vehicle driven by a 30-year-old Palmyra woman, while she was stopped for the traffic in front of her. Both vehicles were driven from the scene, no injuries were reported.

Tuesday, December 10, 2019 @ 1835 hours – Accident – 2550 W. Cumberland Street. A 62-year-old Lebanon woman pulled out from the Hearth parking lot and struck a vehicle driven by a 73-year-old Lebanon woman. Both vehicles had light damage, no injuries reported.

North Lebanon Township

Defiant Trespass – A 24-year-old Lebanon woman was charged with defiant trespass after an incident that occurred on December 10, in the 2500 block of Emma Road.

Theft – Erin Carmany, a 36-year-old Lebanon woman, was charged with theft after taking cash totaling $45, while employed by Hobby Lobby, Lebanon Valley Mall.

Theft – Vivian Rodriguez, a 33-year-old Lebanon woman, was charged with theft after an incident that occurred at 2750 Hanford Drive, Lebanon, after the theft of $50 from a purse.

Drug Violations – Orlando Torres, a 21-year-old Lebanon man, was charged with possession of marijuana and driving under suspension after an incident that occurred in the 1100 block of E. Lehman Street on December 6, 2019.

Harassment – A 19-year-old Lebanon man was charged with harassment after an incident that occurred at his residence on December 10, 2019.

North Londonderry Township

North Londonderry Township Police charged a 17 year old Palmyra female with Terroristic Threats, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct. These charges are a result of an incident that occurred at the Palmyra High School on Nov. 22, 2019.

On Dec. 15 at 3:00 p.m. the North Londonderry Township Police Department investigate a vehicle accident where a vehicle operated by a 19-year-old Elizabethtown woman failed to yield to a vehicle operated by a 64-year-old Palmyra man after the woman proceeded from a stop sign. Both vehicles received moderate damage and the Palmyra man’s vehicle was towed. There were no injuries. The Elizabethtown woman was cited with Stop Signs and Yield Signs.

A 25-year-old Palmyra woman was cited in connection with a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Dec. 14. The woman was traveling north on Gravel Hill Road and failed to negotiate a right hand curve in the road. She drove across the southbound lane of travel and struck a guardrail. Her vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

Swatara Township

On Dec. 12 at 10:15 p.m. this collision occurred as Unit 1, an unknown vehicle, made a left turn from Moore Road onto South Lancaster Street. Unit #1 traveled partially on the right shoulder where it struck a pedestrian who was checking her mail with possibly the vehicle’s passenger side mirror mirror. After impact Unit #1 fled the scene traveling North on South Lancaster Street. Any information regarding this incident, please contact PSP-Jonestown at 717-865-2194.

West Lebanon Township

Retail Theft – A 26-year-old Lebanon man was charged with retail theft after an incident that occurred at Boscov’s, Lebanon Valley Mall on December 11, 2019, after failing to pay for $185 worth of merchandise.
