Although the 46th Mount Gretna Art Show is months away, people who plan to attend can start to look forward to the event with this year’s poster art, released Jan. 29.

The pen and ink style-piece poster was commissioned by one of the show’s co-founders, Bruce Johnson. Johnson will sign copies of the poster at the show Aug. 15 and 16.

“This year’s art celebrates the popularity of our show with patrons coming from all over the globe to our community – what better way to acknowledge that than through art?” said Art Show Director Kerry Royer.

Free parking will be available in Chautauqua’s Soldier’s Field and offsite parking space has been donated by WellSpan Philhaven Hospital. Shuttle service sponsored partially by the Lebanon County Commissioners will be available.

“In an effort to manage the event status as one of the top 200 shows nationwide, we are bringing back the shuttle buses and offsite parking at WellSpan Philhaven’s Mt. Gretna campus on South Butler Rd. to accommodate our visitors,” said Royer.

For visitors who purchase their tickets online prior to the event, a 1-Day Show Pass will cost $10, starting Feb. 1. Tickets will cost $12 while the event is ongoing. However, children 12 and under can enter at no cost.
