Lebanon Transit is resuming its offer of $1.00 each way discount fare for all students through the duration of the 2020-2021 school year.

All students who are interested in getting an LT Student Fare Card must fill out the Student Fare Card Application. This application can be found at lebanontransit.org under the Resource Menu or by clicking on this link: Student Card Application English  Aplicación De Tarifa De Estudiante Español. A copy may also be picked up in person at the LT Transfer Center located at 7th and Willow St.

Once the Student Fare Card Application is completed, students can bring the application and proof of enrollment to the LT Main Office. The office is located at 200 Willow St. in Lebanon. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Examples of proof of enrollment include a valid 2020-2021 school or student photo ID, a signed letter from the school, last year’s LT Fare Card or a student ID.

All who submit their paperwork to the main office will receive their card immediately. Applications can be submitted at any time during the year.

The Student Fare Card rate began on August 15 and will expire on June 15. Students need to renew their pass on an annual basis.

Students must present their Student Fare Card each time they board a bus to receive the discount fare. Student Fare Cards can only be used by the person whom it is issued. No ID or card other than the Student Fare Card will be accepted for the student discount rate.

All who are attending grades K-12, an accredited college, university or trade school, are permitted to receive the Student Fare Card.

If a student needs a replacement LT Student Fare Card, they can call Lebanon Transit at 717-274-3664 or visit in person. There is a two week waiting period before receiving a replacement card. During this waiting period, the discounted Student Fare rate cannot be applied. A $2.00 replacement fee is required for a replacement card.

For any additional information in regards to LT Student Fare Cards, visit lebanontransit.org or call 717-274-3664.
