Bethel Township

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 24, 2020 at 12:56 a.m., this crash occurred on Mount Zion Rd. in the area of house #1423 in Bethel Twp. This is a two-lane road with each lane of travel separated by double yellow stripes in this area. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2014 Toyota Tundra, driven by Operator 1, Daniel Kreiser, a 34 year old Bethel man, was traveling north on Mount Zion Rd., approaching a slight left curve in the roadway. As Unit 1 approached the curve, Operator 1 lost control of Unit 1 and Unit 1 left the right side of the roadway. Unit 1 then struck utility pole #R68 with its passenger’s side doors before continuing on the right shoulder of the roadway. Unit 1 then entered the roadway again where it came to final rest, facing west in the southbound lane. Unit 1 sustained damage to its passenger’s side doors, bedside, and rear tire. Operator 1 was showing signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested for DUI. Refer to PA2020-1500708 for further details regarding the DUI. No injuries occurred as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 25, 2020 at 3:39 a.m., this crash occurred on the 2,400 block of South Pine Grove St. in Bethel Twp. Unit 1, a 2007 Chevrolet Aveo, driven by Operator 1, a 41 year old Pottsville woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 20 year old Pottsville woman, was traveling south on South Pine Grove St. A deer ran out into the road. Unit 1 struck the deer in the southbound lane. Unit 1 was disabled from the crash. No injuries were reported.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 26, 2020 at 9:36 p.m., this crash occurred at the intersection of Mount Zion Rd. and Long Rd. in Bethel Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2008 Subaru Impreza, driven by Operator 1, a 17 year old Myerstown male, was traveling south on Mount Zion Rd. and lost control of the vehicle. Unit 1 left the roadway in an easterly direction. While off the roadway, Unit 1 struck a concrete statue and then crossed over Long Rd. Unit 1 then struck an embankment and subsequently struck a fence. Unit 1 came to a position of final rest, facing southeast a short distance from the fence line. No injuries reported or observed. A traffic citation was filed on Operator 1 for Roadways Laned for Traffic. Unit 1 was removed from the scene by D. E. Richard’s Garage. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Life Lion EMS and Mount Zion Community Fire Dept.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 29, 2020 at 3:59 p.m., this crash occurred on SR 22 West, just west of Blue Mountain Rd. in Bethel Twp. Unit 2, a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse, driven by Operator 2, a 33 year old Harrisburg man, was traveling westbound on SR 22 in the left lane. Unit 1, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, was traveling westbound on SR 22 in the right lane. Unit 1 crossed into the left lane, striking Unit 2. Unit 1 continued westbound on SR 22 while Unit 2 stopped in a nearby parking lot. It is unknown if Operator 1 sustained injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 2 was not injured as a result of this crash.

City of Lebanon

Transportation, Possession, Or Consumption In Public Places – A 19 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Transportation, Possession, or Consumption in Public Places (open container) on Oct. 15, 2020 at 6:35 p.m. on the 800 block of Monument St.

Curfew Violations – A 10 year old Lebanon resident, an 11 year old Lebanon resident, and a 12 year old Lebanon resident have all been cited for Curfew Violations on Oct. 25, 2020 at 12:32 a.m. on the 700 block of Union St.

Harassment – A 74 year old South Lebanon man has been cited for Harassment on Oct. 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at 8th St. and Chestnut St.

Public Drunkenness – A 40 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on Oct. 24, 2020 at 9:17 a.m. on the 400 block of North 5th St.

Disorderly Conduct – A 28 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on Oct. 23, 2020 at 1:08 p.m. on the 300 block of East Weidman St.

Disorderly Conduct, Harassment – A 25 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Disorderly Conduct and a 15 year old Lebanon female has been cited for Harassment during the same incident on Oct. 12, 2020 at 9:49 p.m. on the 00 block of South 10th St.

Criminal Trespass – Chadd Engle, a 33 year old with no permanent address, has been charged with Criminal Trespass on Oct. 26, 2020 at 1:20 a.m. on the 200 block of East Cumberland St. Engle was told by the owner of the property to leave the location on two previous occasions and instructed not to return. Engle returned a third time, prompting a police response. Engle was apprehended and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Anthony Verna and released on $2,500 unsecured bail.

Possession With Intent To Deliver A Controlled Substance – Dustin Brubaker, a 25 year old Myerstown resident, has been charged with Possession With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance (two counts), Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after an incident on Oct. 23, 2020 at 12:05 p.m. on the 1,000 block of Maple St. Police assisted Lebanon County Probation Officers and allege Brubaker possessed methamphetamine, heroin, and marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia associated with drug delivery. He was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ John Ditzler. He was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Harassment – A 29 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Harassment on Oct. 12, 2020 at 2:38 p.m. on the 300 block of Old North 10th St.

Public Drunkenness – A 44 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on Oct. 29, 2020 at 12:11 a.m. on the 200 block of South Partridge St.

Disorderly Conduct With A Motor Vehicle – A 22 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct with a Motor Vehicle on Oct. 5, 2020 at 6:49 p.m. on the 200 block of Alder St.

Harassment – A 51 year old North Lebanon Twp. woman has been cited for Harassment after investigation into an incident that occurred on Oct. 2, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. on the 100 block of North 11th Ave.

DUI, Purchase, Consumption, Possession, Or Transportation Of Liquor – Charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or a Controlled Substance, Traffic Control Signals, and Purchase, Consumption, Possession, or Transportation of Liquor or Malt or Brewed Beverage has been filed against Jazmin McGinnis, a 20 year old Newmanstown resident, after a traffic accident on Oct. 25, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. at 6th St. and Walnut St. No one was injured as a result of the accident. McGinnis refused to submit to a blood alcohol test.

East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 27, 2020 at 6:34 a.m., this crash occurred on Allentown Blvd. (SR 22 East) at its intersection with Gravel Hill Rd. in East Hanover Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup, driven by Operator 1, a 25 year old Palmyra man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 34 year old Palmyra man, proceeded through a posted STOP sign without proper clearance at the intersection of Gravel Hill Rd. and Allentown Blvd. Operator 1 failed to observe Unit 2, a 2002 Honda CRV, driven by Operator 1, a 22 year old Hummelstown woman, traversing east in the left lane of Allentown Blvd. before attempting to cross the eastbound travel lanes of Allentown Blvd. and travel west on Allentown Blvd. Unit 1 proceeded into the eastbound travel lanes of Allentown Blvd. and directly into the travel path of Unit 2. Operator 2 was unable to slow or prevent Unit 2 from striking Unit 1. Unit 1 sustained heavy and disabling damage to its driver’s side rear quarter panel, fender, and axle at the 7 o’clock position as a result of this crash before coming to final rest along the right travel lane shoulder of Allentown Blvd., facing north. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 2 sustained heavy and disabling front-end damage at the 11 o’clock position before coming to final rest along the right travel lane and shoulder of Allentown Blvd., facing south. Operator 2 sustained mild injuries to her chest and right upper extremity as a result of this crash and was transported to the Hershey Medical Center by Penn State Life Lion for further assessment of her injuries. Both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were towed from the scene by Porrini’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Duties at Stop Signs, Stop Signs and Yield Signs, Restraint Systems, and Operating a Vehicle Without Valid Inspection.

Jackson Township

Scattering Rubbish – Between Oct. 18, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. and Oct. 19, 2020 at 8:00 a.m., troopers responded to Kreider Rd. for a report of trash being dumped in a farm field. Investigation revealed that unknown Actor(s) entered the property between the above dates and times. The unknown Actor(s) proceeded to dump numerous items of trash, including a television and couch, in the field. The unknown Actor(s) fled in an unknown direction by an unknown mean(s) of travel. The Victim was a 54 year old Myerstown man. Investigation is ongoing.

Jonestown Borough

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 25, 2020 at 8:49 a.m., this two-vehicle reportable crash occurred at the intersection of North Lancaster St. and East Market St. in Jonestown Boro. This crash occurred when Unit 2, a 1992 Ford Explorer, driven by Operator 2, a 29 year old Palmyra man, was traveling west on East Market St. and Unit 1, a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 (pickup), driven by Operator 1, a 19 year old Lebanon man, was traveling south on North Lancaster St. Unit 1 failed to stop at a stop sign and hit Unit 2 at its 3 o’clock position. Unit 1 sustained disabling front-end damage. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of this crash. Operator 2 sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported via Life Lion to the Hershey Medical Center. Operator 1 was cited for Stop Signs and Yield Signs. Operator 2 was cited for Restraint Systems.

Myerstown Borough

Theft From Person – On Oct. 27, 2020 at approximately 3:24 p.m., PSP Jonestown was dispatched to the 00 block of West Lincoln Ave. in Myerstown Boro. for a report of a theft. Investigation revealed that the Victim’s jewelry, valued at approximately $5,000, had been taken from her. The Victim was a 62 year old Myerstown woman. PSP is investigating.

North Cornwall Township

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 30, 2020 at 12:10 p.m., this incident occurred as a 17 year old Hershey male was traveling north on SR 241, in the area of the 1,700 block of Colebrook Rd., rounding a bend in the roadway at Creekside Dr. He lost control of the vehicle coming out of the turn, striking Lisa Spangler, a 57 year old Lebanon resident, as she was traveling south on SR 241. Spangler reported she observed the juvenile’s vehicle in her lane and could not avoid the collision. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Drivers and passengers were checked by FASP but were not transported to a hospital.

North Londonderry Township

DUI – On Oct. 25, 2020 at 5:18 a.m., Kayla Shirk, a 24 year old Palmyra resident, was charged with DUI after she was stopped by police on Old Forge Rd. and Cedar Ln. for a traffic violation.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 30, 2020 at 9:15 a.m., the North Londonderry Twp. police department investigated a motor vehicle crash at Gravel Hill Rd. and Bindnagles Rd. A 63 year old Palmyra man was traveling north on Gravel Hill Rd. and lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a right curve. Hopkins was transported to the Hershey Medical Center for evaluation. Hopkins was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speeds.

Richland Borough

Commercial Burglary – The PSP are investigating a commercial burglary that occurred on the 600 block of East Linden St. in Richland Boro. The burglary occurred between Oct. 17, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. and Oct. 24, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. In the commission of the crime, unknown Actor(s) entered a locked garage containing metal machining equipment and removed a large Monarch metal lathe and a vice/jig for a milling machine. Total estimated value of the items is $1,000.00 combined. The Victim was Marbo Enterprises LLC in Richland. The stolen property included a Monarch Metal Lathe valued at $600.00. Swatara Township

Drug Possession – On Oct. 24, 2020 at 11:37 p.m., this crime occurred on SR 72 North. In the commission of this crime, the Suspect was in possession of a controlled substance. The Suspect/Arrestee was a 28 year old Ridgewood, NY man. The vehicles involved included a 2019 Chevrolet Malibu.

Drug Possession – On Oct. 24, 2020 at 8:06 p.m., PSP conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Greble Rd. and Dead-End Rd. in Swatara Twp. for a traffic violation. During the interaction with the Operator (W/N-M, 30 year old), the odor of marijuana was detected. The Operator related that he did not have a medical marijuana card and admitted to possessing marijuana inside his backpack. Upon a probable cause search of the vehicle, a clear and green Tupperware containing marijuana, a clear plastic baggie containing marijuana, and a purple metallic grinder containing marijuana were seized as evidence. The Arrestee was a 30 year old Lebanon man. The vehicles involved included a 2008 Scion. PSP is investigating.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 26, 2020 at 5:24 p.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred on I 81 Northbound near mile marker 92.0 in Union Twp. This single-vehicle crash occurred when Unit 1, a 2012 Ford Fusion, driven by Operator 1, a 40 year old North Chesterfield, VA man, was traveling in the left lane of I 81 Northbound. Operator 1 subsequently left the left side of the roadway, entering the median. Operator 1 then lost control of Unit 1 before coming to final rest after striking trees and other shrubbery in the median. Operator 1 sustained a suspected head injury as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was transported via Life Lion to the Hershey Medical Center for further medical treatment. Unit 1 sustained disabling front- and rear-end damage and was towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing Company. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Drug Possession – On Oct. 27, 2020 at 12:28 p.m., PSP Jonestown initiated a traffic stop on a 2004 Honda Accord Crosstour at Marsanna Ln. and Fisher Ave. Through investigation, it was determined that the right rear Passenger was in possession of marijuana. Charges are to be filed.
