Lebanon City Police Chief Bret Fisher said last week that the department does not have any new or additional information to release on an alleged rape that occurred on Jan. 9.

In January, LebTown reported that city police were investigating the alleged rape of a 15-year-old female by four offenders in Lebanon.

Fisher told LebTown via email on Wednesday, March 22, that he doesn’t have any updates on the case. Fisher did not respond to followup questions from LebTown.

Fisher previously told LebTown that the incident is believed to have taken place in a vehicle in the area of First and Weidman streets between the hours of 6 and 11 p.m. on Jan. 9.

First and Weidman streets is adjacent to Progressive Playground.

Police have not yet released a description of the attackers.

Fisher told LebTown in January that the juvenile had been interviewed and that evidence items were in the process of being tested. At the time, Fisher said that there were no identified suspects.

Reached by email in January, Lebanon Mayor Sherry Capello said, “The city takes every reported crime seriously.”

Anyone with information on this incident should contact city police at 717-272-6611, or alternatively the Crime Stoppers hotline at 717-270-9800.
